Solid game by Miami... it's starting to look like Battier really wants that ring... I thought he was huge for Miami today
Battier has been huge in both games.
Bitter OKC fan booing because Durant didn't get bailed out there. :lol

Foul or not, he shouldn't have missed that point blank shot
agreed, he's made harder shots from farther away.
he should have concentrated on making that, not look for a bail out foul
oh crap
06-14-2012, 10:54 PM
jesus christ, durant got no respect on that obvious and blatant foul. what a fucking joke, cheapens the whole NBA experience.

They are the only team capable of doing it. Mavs, Lakers nor the Spurs could.

Lebron was actually clutch despite that ill advised three point attempt
He was way too pasive in the 4th.

I thought Lebron played well, but getting gassed and settling while your legacy is on the line?
OKC though, they are the most relentless team ever and they make so many difficult shots they normally (or any team for that matter) miss. They just hit the most timely shots

That play where Westbrook passed to Durant for three shows his growth. He could have tried to be the hero, but he stayed composed and found Durant. Huge moment I thought.

Westbrook must run the mile at Usain Bolt levels. He's at 100% all the time. That's also what hinders his game. Unreal endurance

Great points. But he made some asinine plays that led to the Heat lead. We will know his growth by how he plays these next 3 games ...
LOL at talking heads on TV calling sweep. All idiots
Name one analyst that called a sweep

Just game 6. Other games were officiated fairly, bad calls for both teams notwithstanding.

What's overlooked is the tremendous decision by Brooks to keep KD in the game with 5 fouls with 6+ mins on the clock. Most coaches would've taken him out.

pretty sure he knew the refs were not going to call a foul on Durant.

Did Stern make a call to his zebras in the 4th to "help" Lebron for basketball reasons? Is it possible that Stern stepped in so that the series would be 1-1 and Lebron would be the hero? He knows that if the Thunder had won, it would have been Thunder 2-0 and Lebron would have been a piece of shit thus putting attention back on Stern because of his bitchfest with Rome on the radio.
Tie the series up in order to deflect attention away from him being a bitch to Rome? Any takers?

if that was the case Durant would have fouled out when he charged into Battier.
For how poorly the Thunder played for 2 quarters and having your best player in foul trouble the whole game and you still had a chance to win the game, not bad.
Heat couldn't have played any better imo. I think they played their best game in this series. Thoughts?

Quite possibly. It felt like Game 2 of OKC-Spurs, with OKC once again playing the horror-movie dude that keeps coming at you even after he should be dead.
Big difference, though: this was a home game for OKC. Miami may yet have a better game in them at home.

This was not MIAs best game. Bosh still isn't scoring, nor is Haslem. Outside of Battier, none of the role players have done much (Chalmers has hit a few shots). Neither Bron or Wade have had that "game" yet either. No to mention they certainly can improve defensively.
They were up a lot in game 1 too & had a decent shot to win both on the road.
OKC has room to improve too, but KD has pretty much been maxed out and same with Westbrook too. Those two cant play much better.

Mavs didn't start playing their brand of basketball until game 4 where JJ was inserted into the starting lineup

Heat could still play much better, the big 3 haven't really had THAT game and they definitely have some holes they can plug on D.
