That market size is not indicative of finals ratings, despite what Spurs fans have been claiming for the last decade.

Im just glad OKC is FINALLY putting an end to the stupid "market size" argument for why no one watches the Spurs.

Had a lot to do with your opponent in 93, trying to make history and being the first team to threepeat since Russell's Celtics. Plus that guy named Michael Jordan being the most popular player in NBA History.

The big difference between SA and OKC is Kevin Durant and the Thunder are more "marketable" than SA. You have Westbrook flying, dunking, yelling and chest pumping all over the place. Harden with his stare downs and funny beard. And lets not forget Durant. Durant is the next NBA superstar. The media never liked the Spurs or their style. Their stars are...well we all know the story. Long story short OKC (mainly Durant) is the NBA's new cash cow.

Really? How about you dazzle us with the facts why...let me help you out by giving you a website with the U.S.' metro populations:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_urban_areas

Guess what? Miami is the 4th largest metro areas in the United States....nothing to do with the ratings? You can also be certain that OKC's distance to Dallas' metro area (6th largest metro) also favors OKC's fan-base.

:wakeup

Then there is to mention the mouthpiece of the NBA (the nat'l media) have been pushing stars over teams...and two of their biggest stars are playing each other.

The league pushes young athletic players....again, two young athletic stars facing each other.

I don't think Spurs fans are angry over ratings; it just further proves our point that the league doesn't care about teams, just stars.

...but seriously at least get your facts straight, saying this has nothing to do with market size is dumb.
