Spurs in Dallas, you smoking Cubans or dr's? Ive smoked my fair share of Cubans and to be honest when available I find locally rolled to be best, such as new orleans or Austin.

I hate that you cant randomly stop by a cigar store and browse. You either smoke one there, or end up smelling like you've smoked one.

The Perdomos I like are the champagne 10th anniversaries. Especially the noir. Very good cigars, I've not liked the rest of their line near as much.

My favorite cigar right now, by far... the rocky patel 15th anniversary torpedo. It's amazingly good.

A good medium bodied go to that's pretty cheap is the Oliva connecticut reserve. I smoke these A LOT. Nothing way special, just cheap and consistent.

Davidoffs are good. But boring. And for the price I'm way happier with like a Padron '64 or something. The high end of the Padron line is untouchable. Not even by the rocky patel 15th. Expensive though.

The CAO mx2 is a great stick, as is their box pressed Brazilia. (When they don't have burn issues anyway)

Other recommends: the Cain Daytona from Oliva. La Gloria Cubana serie R. Oliva series v lancero.

The Champ 10 anniv is what I have. I grabbed a box for a wedding, found out the groom doesn't smoke, got him something else and kept the box. I take a couple with me to have a smoke with friends if I am going out.

I'll have to try the Rocky Patel 15 and some of the others. I got the Perdomos on a whim and was pleasantly surprised but I know that lightning doesn't strike twice.

I like good cigars but I am also a cheap bastard. We have a cigar company here in SA called Fincke cigar that imports and packages a lot of the high quality cigars sold under fancy labels for shitloads of money. Part of their process is to cull cigars with slight imperfections before they put the fancy gold band on them and seal them in a glass tube so they can be sold for $15 each. I buy the seconds in 50 cigar boxes for about a buck fifty apiece. No band, cellophane wrapper, but the same good quality smoke as the expensive shit.
