Watched in awe for about 5 minutes. I was hoping it was about 8 years old.
Why does Scifi keep making this terrible movies? How many people are actually watching these movies? How much money does it bring it? Give out?

CGI Is what's destroying these types of movies. Movies going to DVD or SciFi channel don't have a big budget so the movies will always look cheap. I think the special FXs of the 70s and 80's are better suited for "staight to dvd" type movies.

This is one of those movies that's so bad it's actually good. The acting was top-notch, and the soul-crushing "this is what i've been reduced to?" look on Madsen's face throughout the film makes it worth your time.
Madsen's had that look for a long time. He just speaks his lines. Has no emotional ties to his character at all. Makes you wonder why he's even cast.

Mr. Blonde gave Madsen enough cult cred that he could continue to phone it in for decades and still be a draw to at least part of the nerdy fanboy audience SyFy is courting.
