well sons I have had pretty decent luck this playoff season with my bets. I won $1,500 on OKC beating the Spurs in 6, but I was wrong on here when I tried to get Spur fan spirits up by predicting they would win game 6 and extend the series to 7 games. I have bet on most of the series. some I bet for the entire series and others I bet on individual games, but overall so far my bets have resulted in ...

first round

-lost $1,000 on Chicago/Philly (I bet for the entire series before game 1)

- won $1,000 on Miami/NYK

- won $500 on Boston/Atlanta

- won $1,000 on Spurs/Utah

- won $500 on Lakers/Denver

second round

- won $2,000 on Boston/Philly

- lost $500 on Lakers/OKC

- won $1,500 on Heat/Pacers

- lost $1,000 on Spurs/Clippers (I completely shit the bed here)

conference finals

- won $1,500 on Spurs/OKC

resulting in - currently up $5,500

now sons I have yet to make an official bet on the finals and I am regretting it tonight because my prediction came true with Miami winning game 3. I went back and forth on whether or not to drop some cash on it, but decided not to earlier today. I do however plan to drop $5,000 (the second largest bet that I have ever personally placed on a game) for game 4 with OKC winning. the way I see it is that even if I lose I will still technically be up $500 from my previous playoff winnings this season. sons only a fool would bet against OKC in game 4. the NBA wants to even this thing up and stretch it to as many games as possible. take my advice and go win some money.

IF I AM WRONG AND MIAMI WINS GAME 4 .... I will ban myself from this board for 30 days. now go place your bets sons and good luck.

i would also have similar numbers if i were a betting man, just swap your bad spurs/clippers prediction with my bad memphis/clippers prediction and were both spot on.

and nobody knew rose was going to get hurt, that's impossible so don't feel bad

I'll probably place a bet before the game starts. Watch Durant break his ankle during practice if I place a bet tonight.

sons to be honest the NBA playoffs are the easiest sport to bet on. nothing else even comes close. to hell with betting on the Super Bowl, MLB playoffs, college sports, etc. ... that shit is hard to predict. the NBA playoffs are very easy to predict for the most part as long as you half ass understand how their agenda works.

sons the only easier money that I have ever made on games than this game 4 will be was the 2007, 2008, and 2009 BCS National Championship games. those games involved Ohio State (twice) and Oklahoma taking on SEC teams (Florida and LSU) and no one in their right mind would have bet on Ohio State or Oklahoma winning. those two schools make "bed shitting" in bowl games look like an art form.

2007: Florida beat the piss out of Ohio State - won $2,000

2008: LSU beat the piss out of Ohio State - won $10,000 (biggest bet I have ever placed on anything)

2009: Florida beat the piss out of Oklahoma - won $3,000

I'm the worst gambler in the world.

son sports betting is different than some slot machine though. you just can't be afraid to lose. whatever your bankroll amount is you have to look at is as play money or else you will never get aggressive enough to ever win anything decent.

take a table game like blackjack for example. if you're just playing "for fun" then there is nothing wrong with this, but most people go to a $10 minimum table with say $100 to work with and just bet the minimum amount nearly every hand. is there a chance you can win money like that? of course, but its a slim chance and probably more like a 90% chance that you will end up losing or waste a lot of time going back and forth just to break even or win a very small amount. you have to have the balls to drop some $30-40 bets down when you're ahead if you want to actually win some money. the same can be said with betting on sports (particularly the NBA playoffs)

:lol Not having money to bet and trying to point out the rare times you are right and not all the time being wrong.

Me publically winning numerous actual bets and really only losing one big one. But I am not trying to prove anything and act like I am some big time basketball bettor (vs you whom doesn't actually bet :lol)

DPG is da real man despite his size imho. he lost a bet about the same time last year as we all know, and he actually mailed the winner $500 via paypal when he could've just retired his DPG account w/o paying shit and come back a few days later under a new one.

DPG must be worth more then $500 i think

This attention loving no life wanna be nigga. Lol

Let me drop some truth bombs to you sons. So without even looking at the odds you basically bet on the 4 favorites from the 1st round. Meaning you had to bet/invest more money to win that certain amount. Winning $1000 by picking Miamia means you've atleast invested 1,300 to 1,500 to win back $1000.

Again, Miami were heavy favorites

Same with the Spurs, no sane bookie thougt that the jazz could upset the spurs. Say another 1500 to 1700 you bet to make 1k.

Lakers and Boston were a bit more closer.
So let's say you had to bet 600 to win 500 on both series
Same thing for Chicago.

So that's $4500 out of your own pocket you had to risk, money none of us believe you have sons. If you do good for you, but you ain't no Oceans 11 sons.

Ok, money aside.
You claim to be a gambling expert, which you are not.
My 11 year old cousin could have predicted the Spurs beating the jazz.
The real money was with the Clippers beating Memphis & Philly beating Chicago(which you have to be some sort of palm reader to predict Rose's injury, although not comptely a unreasonable prediction based on Rose's injury history).

& yeah, $4500 is a lot of money for a lot of people. Unless you're a millionaire, which none of us believe you are. & 10,000 in gambling money my ass sons. That's 10% of someone who makes 100,000 k a year which again none of us believe you make(those people usually works a lot of hours and spends little time on message boards & daydreaming about getting it on with sue bird).

You ain't no Bernie Mac from Oceans 11 sons.

sons I'm telling you this is a guaranteed payday and you still have time to find your local casino or wherever you can legally place bets in your area and cash in! there is absolutely noway in hell OKC loses tonight. the NBA will push them to victory to setup an epic 2-2 match up to stretch this series out for as long as possible. this game 4, right now is about as obvious as it gets as to who the NBA is going to push to victory.

I'm in shock the NBA turned the tables and handed Miami the win. I completely shit the bed on this prediction. all of my winnings from this playoffs season are gone now and I am back at even. for a second I thought I may luck up and still win the money because the spread was 3.5 (Miami was favored and had to win by at least 4 points), but obviously that didn't happen.

but I am a man of my word. sons I'm banning myself from the NBA forum for 30 days now. God bless
