There's nobody. None of these guys want to be villains. LeBron doesn't want to be a villain. Dewey Howard doesn't want to be a villain. They all want to be liked.

We need a Barkley or a Laimbeer or a Duke-era Christian Laettner- someone that relishes being hated.

Maybe if the Timberwolves turn into a contender and Kevin Love keeps stepping on peoples' faces he can fill that role.

If he does gain more haters, it'll be for that "I didn't take any shortcuts" comment. Otherwise, I think he gained more respect than hate with this run.

That would be part of it, but also because the haters want to see him fail. They want him to fail, so they can use the * card and say 2012 was a fluke season. The haters will always find reasons. I am looking forward to that. :lol

The thing with Dwight is it doesn't seem like a move to Brooklyn is to win a title. He just wants more exposure. I can't see people piling on him about not winning a 'chip when he apparently could care less.
