Did anyone catch this last night? The West Wing was probably my 2nd favorite show of all time after Lost so I was looking forward to Sorkin entering a similar setting. I really enjoyed the first episode.

I liked it, but my expectations were tempered by some of the mediocre reviews. Will definitely keep watching.

Jeff Daniels' characters seems to be in the middle or center. He bashes liberals and conservatives.

I really liked this show. I went in expecting not too. Yeah, they idea of a soft 'Leno' like anchor is kind of dumb, but I thought it was well written and really engaging. Thums up!

First two were pretty good I thought. Just so much you could do in a show about the news. Anyone still watching this?

I'm finding episode two pretty annoying right now. I hope this show doesn't turn into a Julia Roberts-esque romantic comedy.

I agree. If this show is about the romance between Jeff Daniels and his EX...I'll lose interest.

I haven't watched last nights episode yet.

Through 5 episodes I'm really enjoying it so far. Definitely reminds me a lot of the West Wing.

Show's starting to hit its stride. It's been really good the last few weeks. Tonight was a high point.

Thinly veiled political statement program by Sorkin with a fake conservative as the lead to give it that "fair and balanced" feel for liberals, even though Will is anything but conservative.

I thought it was cute how all of the Obama nut huggers on this show made fun of the Ron Paul drunk skank and bashed the Jerry guy after he called them out on loving Obama.

They made the Ron Paul chick out to be an idiot and made Jerry out to be an itchy trigger fingered zealot. So far they are going right down the middle of the liberal mantra.

These same liberals were the ones bitching 24/7 about Gitmo and the war in Iraq when Dubya was president. Their Lord Obama does the same thing and they celebrate him and worship him. Hypocrisy anyone?
