The Suns are gonna draft Marshall if he's there at 13.
Kendall Marshall at 13 has "Really retarded pick the Suns will be in love with" written all over it. He's a volume assist point guard the Suns can hype up as a "Classy, unselfish Steve Nash replacement!" the team is gonna build around going forward. It's a horrible pick that's stupid for so many reasons, which is why I'd be surprised if the Suns don't do it.

Yall bitches wasting time hoping for a miracle trades (Lakers/Rockets), pipe-dream FA signings (Dallas) or the chance to draft scrubs (Sullinger, Drummond, Rivers etc.) when we all know as soon as Lebron and the Heat give us an opening, the chip is ours. Enjoy battling for second or third place losers!!! Anthony Davis is the only player I would even consider trading or third or fourth best player for (Ibaka) ...

Source: Bobcats weighing 5 offers
Updated: June 28, 2012, 10:45 AM ET
ESPN.com news services
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- With the NBA draft rapidly approaching, the Charlotte Bobcats (http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/cha/charlotte-bobcats) remain undecided on what to do with the No. 2 overall pick.
The Bobcats are sifting through five different trade offers for the pick, a source with direct knowledge of the team's draft plans told ESPN.com's Andy Katz on Thursday.
Charlotte may choose to keep the pick but must decide whether one of the trade offers addresses a more pressing need, according to the source.
Bobcats general manager Rich Cho has stated that it will take "something enticing" for the Bobcats to trade away the pick, although he has not specified what that entails.
Bobcats president of basketball operations Rod Higgins and Cho went out of their way at Wednesday's pre-draft news conference to say they're excited about who they might get at No. 2, but the reality is they're still very much open for business.
"We've had a ton of interest from across the league in the second pick," said Higgins, who refused to name any potential trade partners. "We wouldn't be doing our jobs if we didn't listen and find alternative ways to try to help our ballclub."
They did that Tuesday night via trade.
The Bobcats dealt veteran small forward Corey Maggette (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/497/corey-maggette) to the Detroit Pistons (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=det) for shooting guard Ben Gordon (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/2381/ben-gordon) and a future first-round draft pick. The first-round pick gives the Bobcats a valuable asset down the road and Gordon gives the team a legitimate outside shooter following a season in which Charlotte finished last in the league in 3-point shooting (29.5 percent).
Gordon is 12th among active NBA players in career 3-point shooting percentage at 40.6 percent. The trade is the first step in a major roster overhaul the next two years.
The Michael Jordan (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/1035/michael-jordan)-owned Bobcats finished with the worst winning percentage (.106) in NBA history this past season and the pressure is on to make good decisions after a variety of poor trades and draft picks in recent years that have left fans disgruntled.
The Bobcats look to change that tide this year.
"We have a lot of cap room this summer and more cap room in 2013," Cho said. "We acquired a really valuable asset with the (Pistons') first-round pick -- especially with the protection involved -- that we can use down the road or in a trade. And we added a scorer and a shooter and consummate professional in Ben that we're excited about."
On the flip side, the loss of Maggette leaves the Bobcats with a gaping hole at the No. 3 spot as Derrick Brown (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3967/derrick-brown) is the only player on the roster who really fits that role.
That doesn't mean the Bobcats will be more inclined to use the No. 2 pick on a small forward, Cho said.
Cho lives by the philosophy of "draft talent and trade for need," meaning the Bobcats could still fill the small forward position in free agency or via trade. Cho's philosophy means the Bobcats will draft "the best player available" regardless of who's on the roster.
Higgins said drafting a small forward simply because that is the team's most glaring need right now would be "shortsighted."
"You have to look at all things considered, and the draft is just the next order of business in terms of building your team," Higgins said. "You also have the ability to trade and free agency is right around the corner where you can upgrade, too."

Sources: Cavs eye wing at No. 4
Updated: June 28, 2012, 12:02 PM ET
By Chad Ford (http://search.espn.go.com/chad-ford/) | ESPN.com
The Cleveland Cavaliers (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=cle) are going into Thursday night's draft hoping to land a starting wing with the No. 4 pick to play alongside last year's Rookie of the Year, Kyrie Irving (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/6442/kyrie-irving).
According to sources, the Cavs have narrowed their list down to three players: Florida's Bradley Beal (http://insider.espn.go.com/nbadraft/draft/tracker/player?draftyear=2010&playerId=19658), Kentucky's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (http://insider.espn.go.com/nbadraft/draft/tracker/player?draftyear=2010&playerId=19651) and North Carolina's Harrison Barnes (http://insider.espn.go.com/nbadraft/draft/tracker/player?draftyear=2010&playerId=19461).
The Cavs covet Beal, but are convinced that the Wizards will select him with the No. 3 pick. They have had discussions about swapping picks with the Bobcats at No. 2 to select Beal, but as of Thursday afternoon, they still didn't have a deal with Charlotte.
If the Cavs stay at No. 4 and Beal is off the board, their front office has been torn between Kidd-Gilchrist and Barnes. While Barnes provides more punch offensively, the Cavs are intrigued by the defensive abilities and leadership qualities of Kidd-Gilchrist. Kidd-Gilchrist and Irving were high school teammates and won a state championship together.
Sources say that as of Thursday, Kidd-Gilchrist had a slight lead over Barnes for the No. 4 pick.
The Cavs have also shown interest in Dion Waiters (http://insider.espn.go.com/nbadraft/draft/tracker/player?draftyear=2010&playerId=19577) and Terrence Ross (http://insider.espn.go.com/nbadraft/draft/tracker/player?draftyear=2010&playerId=19640), but sources say that interest doesn't extend to the No. 4 pick. The Cavs have been trying to acquire another top 10 pick and would consider those players there if they can make a deal.
I'm liking how the Cavs look if they draft MKG.

Sources: Rockets eye No. 5 pick
Updated: June 28, 2012, 4:37 PM ET
By Marc Stein (http://search.espn.go.com/marc-stein/) and Chad Ford (http://search.espn.go.com/chad-ford/) | ESPN.com
Trade talks between the Sacramento Kings (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=sac) and Houston Rockets (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=hou) have intensified in the hours leading up to Thursday night's NBA draft and have put the Rockets in position to acquire the Kings' No. 5 pick if Sacramento elects to trade it, according to sources close to the process.
Sources told ESPN.com the Kings plan to wait as long as possible before committing to the trade to see who falls to them at No. 5. It's believed that Sacramento will walk away from the trade if Kansas' Thomas Robinson is still available after four picks are made.
Yet sources say the Kings, in that scenario, would be walking away from "a lot," suggesting the Rockets have offered even more than the widely reported package of versatile but disgruntled guard Kyle Lowry (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3012/kyle-lowry) and multiple picks later in Thursday's first round. Houston holds the Nos. 12, 16 and 18 picks.
ESPN.com reported earlier this week that UConn center Andre Drummond -- who ranks as the second youngest player in the draft at just 18 -- is the player Houston wants at No. 5. Still unclear, though, is whether the Rockets would be drafting Drummond for themselves or if they want to acquire him to offer to Orlando in Houston's longstanding trade pursuit of Magic center Dwight Howard (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/2384/dwight-howard).
As ESPN.com reported Sunday night, Houston has been trying for weeks to acquire multiple top-10 picks to throw at new Magic general manager Rob Hennigan, believing that Hennigan -- after working alongside Oklahoma City Thunder (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=okc) general manager Sam Presti for years -- would consider trading Howard even though he just got to Orlando if he could get two top lottery picks to start rebuilding his new team through the draft.
The Rockets' willingness to trade for Howard -- even without the All-Star center's signature on a contract extension -- is an open secret around the league. Howard has one season left on his Orlando contract after ending a months-long saga about his future by unexpectedly opting in for the 2012-13 campaign in March in conjunction with the NBA's annual trade deadline.
Houston has continued to aggressively pursue Sacramento's pick this week despite indications that Hennigan wants to take one more run at trying to convince Howard to sign an extension before the start of next season. ESPN.com reported earlier Thursday that the Magic have registered their interest in trying to trade for Atlanta's Josh Smith (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/2411/josh-smith), who is one of Howard's closest friends and whose arrival in Orlando would presumably impact Howard's willingness to commit there for the long term.
As for Drummond, many scouts believe Drummond has the second highest upside of any player in the draft behind consensus No. 1 overall pick Anthony Davis. The 7-foot, 279-pounder registered an impressive 7-foot-6 wingspan at the NBA draft combine earlier this month. Personnel experts regard Drummond as an elite athlete and shot-blocker who moves laterally especially well, but Drummond's inconsistent play as a freshman -- combined with questions about his passion for the game -- have made it difficult to project exactly where he'll be drafted in the lottery.
The tipoff that the Kings are planning to deal the No. 5 pick has been the handful of players they've brought in for draft workouts who are expected to be drafted in the middle of the first round. Sources say two of those players in particular -- North Carolina's John Henson and St. John's Moe Harkless -- are high on the Kings' draft board.
Thomas isn't falling to 5, I hope the Rockets aren't giving up too much. Drummond scares me.

Drummond at 9 good pick. Andre at 5 0r > would of been a reach. Drummond and Monroe gives Pistons one of the best potential young front-courts. Nice job by Joe draft fell in to place for them.
Warriors have one of the best 1-2-3 shooters in the game. Steph, Klay and Barnes all have great strokes. I like Barnes but none of the 3 are good defenders. Barnes may be the best and he isnt an top level defender. G-state will have one of the worst defenses in the league ...
Rivers was one of the best HS players and add him to Davis nice foundation for Hornets. I dont see how he and Gordon fit in the same back-court ...however.

Kendall Marshall at 13 has "Really retarded pick the Suns will be in love with" written all over it. He's a volume assist point guard the Suns can hype up as a "Classy, unselfish Steve Nash replacement!" the team is gonna build around going forward.
