What horrible trash. The defending champions can't even defend their title? I told all of you that they were overrated last year...

Well, now it's the Spurs chance to try and step up! Defend your title, if you want to be considered a great champion! LOL

They looked pretty freaking great taking Shaq and Kobe's manhood in 5 last year. Laker fan of all people has no room to crack on the Pistons, when they came one shot from being swept.

Tonight just made my entire day. Seeing the defending champions lose, going down in flames....

This just makes the Lakers dynasty look better day after day. And I only have the San Antonio Spurs to thank for that! :)

Pistons playd very well imo. The two teams were very close and HCA came up huge. Now, go watch the lottery LAker fans.

Adidas...you do realize that most of us were rooting for the Pistons to kick the shit out of the Lakers last year don't you? Not to mention the Heat this year?

Pistons>Lakers

I'll leave you to dream about THE PAST now.

And good luck with your lottery pick bwahahahahahahahahhahaha. :rollin

This is the wrong day for a Laker fan to come talking shit in here.

What horrible trash. The defending champions can't even defend their title?
You guys did a real good job defending it last year, and an even better one at trying to get it back this year.

I told all of you that they were overrated last year...
As LA lost 4-1 to the same team?

Well, now it's the Spurs chance to try and step up!
Uhhh. The Spurs won. You folks are circle-jerking over the prospect of getting Sean May.

Defend your title, if you want to be considered a great champion! LOL Your guys. Our guys. These Detroit guys. Throw in Boston and Chicago, and you have the only franchises with three or more titles.

And none of those teams would have beaten the 96 Bulls... and the 96 Bulls wouldn't have beaten the 83 Sixers.

The 2000 team is pretty underrated (they won 67 freaking games), the 2001 team was obviously a monster, but the 2002 team was on its last legs. I think either of these teams would have had a great shot at taking a series with them.

adidas11

I'm looking forward to the lottery. We need to take steps to build on 14 NBA titles...

It's the price you pay for winning 3 consecutive titles in a row. Something the Detriot Pistons couldn't accomplish. LOL

I wholeheartedly agree. The 2000 team was awesome, and extremely deep. But they were inexperienced as a whole team. In 2001, that team and the way they were playing, would have stomped any team in NBA history. Including every edition of the Dream Team. Those fools were playing out of their minds.

The 2002 team, while not as good as the others, found a way to three-peat. That year was unbelievable. :)

Spurs have won 100% of their finals.

How many have the Lakers won? 36% or some shit like that? Losers.

But I hope to Hell you guys make it to the Playoffs next year and face the Spurs. I want to Sweep your asses again like we did in '99.

You are a moron. The Lakers Dynasty is dead. It was killed by the Spurs, and buried by the Pistons. Both these teams own your ass, and your team couldn't even make the Playoffs with a Superstar like Kobe.

LOSERS. Spurs > You.

Saying that "14 titles is 14 titles" is like acting as if the Celtics are worth a crap these days.

PJ isn't gonna bring anything back to Los Angeles except for more drama. But I do hope, just as I did this previous season, that your Lakers can make the playoffs by some miraculous stretch, so we can have another chance to send Kobe home early again.

Hey, 14 titles is 14 titles. I'm proud of all of them!

Even IF you count the Minneapolis Lakers (weak, that should be Minnesota's Legacy, NOT La's), the Lakers have still only won 14 of 28 Final appearances.

That's fucking weak. If you're proud of your team winning 50% of their Finals, let's compare them to other Championship teams:

Chicago Bulls: 6 of 6, 100%
Celtics: 16 of 19, 84%
Spurs: 3 of 3, 100%.

Oh, and Los Angeles Lakers have an astounding 9 of 23 Final record. 39%.

:lmao

You must be joking, the 2001 Lakers would have beat any Dream Team? My fucking god could you get any more homer than that?

David Robinson would have abused Shaq, Jordan would have abused Kobe, which he did anyway, Barkley would have abused Horry.

Pathetic man. Simply pathetic. That team wouldn't have stood a chance.
