Have this series recorded so far but haven't watched it.

I like decent westerns. Couldn't get in to Hell on Wheels but maybe didn't give it enough time. Anyone watching this show?

Nothing in literature/TV beats a good western. I'd take L'Amour, Luke Short, Zane Grey, J.T.Edson, Max Brand over all those more famous lliterary giants.

As far as TV goes how do you beat...

Have Gun Will Travel
Cheyenne
Branded
Wagon Train
The Cisco Kid
Hopalong Cassidy
The Lone Ranger
Sugarfoot
Wanted Dead or Alive
Rawhide
Bonanza
Gunsmoke
Wyatt Earp
The Lawman
Bat Masterson
Maverick
The Rifleman
Gene Autry
Wild Bill Hickok
Annie Oakley
The Rebel
Roy Rogers & Dale Evans
Lash LaRue

Hollywood needs to do some of the Dusty Fog stories written by J.T.Edson.
