Any news on how he is spending his summer? I think it would be great if we could sign him cheap after FA and give him another shot.

Especially if we lose Danny Green to FA.

From what it seems he is coming back, and will play in summer league

He was given a lot of opportunities but never delivered. I see no point in keeping him around.

He's taking too long to develop.

How the hell does a 20th pick become an end of bench guy as opposed to a couple of second rounders who became starters?

Does he really need more chances? Cut this guy loose, he looked miserable this entire season.

I don't see any reason to bring him back. He should look into Europe.

Don' t want to see him in Spurs uniform ever again. He got enough chances to prove himself, he failed every single time. Bye

but some clowns in here are still high on him...lol

beatened out by a scrub sub into the rotation, then by a rookie....

The guy seemingly hasn't been the same since that stress fracture foot injury.

Injury and lockout combined with poor ball handling has derailed him. Should get a shot somewhere, 25% chance we sign him....Boston, Clev, LA all may have some interest.

Zero chance the Spurs sign him and there's no need for any sources to figure that out.

I saw him cleaning tables at the Taco Cabana on SW Military.

Too bad, up until he got hurt, he looked great, i was high on him. He finished around the rim better than i thought. Once he came back, he was just so timid of a shooter

Yeah. I've never even seen this Denmon kid play, and he was a friggin 59th pick, but I would wager that he could give us about the production that James did this year, at least.

Yep, that is why he is not the same player. This injury kills players careers I feel bad for him but he wasn't sucking because of lack of effort it is because of injury. Which is why I don't want him back.

Gary Neal and James Anderson recently went on a scavenger hunt with Team Up Challenge students @SSE_Community [Photos] http://j.mp/N2RKr4

Still doing community service stuff for what it's worth. Would be surprised if he wasn't on the Spurs' roster for Summer League.

SG is going to be a problem for us this year as Manu can not play very many minutes and is not the player he once was.

Some of you showing how little you know about the Spurs and their players. In 2010-11, coming out of training camp, Anderson was going to see a ton of playing time, then the stress fracture. On the norm, stress fractures take about 2 years to heal. Some never heal ie Greg Oden.

SG is going to be a problem, but salary cap is also going to be a problem until Duncan or Ginobili retires.

Anderson didn't do anything to burn any bridges with the Spurs. Giving him a chance to audition for all the NBA and international scouts in Vegas wouldn't surprise me either, but he won't be on the Spurs next season.

Manu
Green
Neal
De Colo
Denmon

Plenty of options at SG.

Too many IMO

Green is your prototypical swingman, who helps with length at the wings.

Neal is a typical SG forced into a ball handling role, which was quashed in the WCF.

I hear De Colo is a good ball handler, and Denmon can't be worse than Neal, right?

Too bad he never could crack into the rotation. The 20th pick was high by Spurs standards.
