The best thing this forum has going for it is a lot of you know your music. Very cool!
I can go without sex for a few days, obviously do go without football for months but can't go without the music. I'm not talking about I'm doing this and that with music in the background. Not that that doesn't sometimes happen, I'm talking about a sit down planned situation with you totally focused on the sound. You have your drink, the candles and the incense. You are out there, in a neatherworld of your on making. The music is your drug.
My garage is my Fortress of Solitude, my library, gym and recording studio. An amazing place to be, totally me. Football cards, books, antiques, CD's, tapes, speakers all over the place, records, the walls adorned with...

Historians were baffled at how he could play the cords he played, there was even talk that he had help, yep two guys one guitar, that was before that picture was discovered. Once his hands were exposed.....
This is an internet discovery, I have nothing by him, yet. They are doing an old Blind Willie McTell classic....

Love stories.
Me and some buddies were at a little bar in Hunters Point (bay area) back in my Navy days. Over at the bandstand a little dude is messing around, getting ready for that nights gig, then he did a few runs on his guitar, Carlos Santana, after awhile he came over had a couple beers and talked a little, nice guy.
Then there was that night at the El Ranchero in Hanford, me and a couple buddies are hanging out when in walks this skinny cat with hair down to his ass. Everyone is making a big deal out of him, they are wanting him to sing with the band, of course he's playing..nay nay well ok...Steve Perry of Journey fame. Prior to his Journey days.

Then there's my pet, those old prewar blues. This has to be done by region/territory, yep it's just done that way.
Mississippi yes not all are from the Delta despite what record companies tell you. I'll put the Memphis players at the end, a case can be made that the Delta starts in Memphis.

I found more references to Old Dirty Bastard who apparently used "Peanut the Kidnapper" as one of his many aliases.
