We've got some Spurfans on the other side who think Splitter can't cut it.
Bill Cartwright
Will Perdue
Stacey King
Scott Williams
Luc Longley
Bill Wentington
Bob Parish
All C's who ringed with MJ, some multiple.
The Heat have LeBron. Argue if you wish that he ain't MJ, I'm not saying he is. I am saying that, like MJ was, he is the best in NBA at present. For all the bitching about him joining the Heat, LeBron is 1-1 in Champ pursuits and that one loss they were as close as up 13 to take a commanding 3-1 lead before Wade (not Bron) started pre mature ejacking.
Anywho, point being the Heat may well not need an All Star center to title again. More likely it rests on Wades surgery and outcome.
For Splitter, one thing is sure. He's not going to have some silly coach come running off the bench in PMS mode and pull then berate him after one minute of play in a Conference Finals game in which he possibly makes a slight defensive miss.
So, given Splitters already very good play for the Spurs, with continued improvement and a competent playoff caliber coach, how could Splitter do on the Heat next season(s)?
