Review: buy it NOW
:lol
The One S is super thin a light, fits perfectly in my little girl hand; good grip too, that thing is not slippery either
Ice Cream Sandwich runs smoothly on that thing, no lag so far
I cant comment on HTC Sense software, since it's my 1st Android phone, but it's really well integrated in ICS; on teh internetz, they say that this version of Sense is a huge improvement over the older versions
Screen and Camera:
The screen is really nice, although I think the iPhone 4 screen is better - but not by a long shot
8 mp camera is great
Sound : great; the "audio beats" may seem gimmicky, but it's really high quality stuff
Speed: really fast; in fact, tests show it's faster than Tegra 3
Whatever that means :lol
Multistaking: quite good
Widget management screen: really well done; not messy at all
The bad:
- no 32 gb model, and no expendable memory either; I may have to root the phone in order to remove stock bloatware and free memory space
- no removable battery
Oh, and as in any Android device, super customizable, everything is integrated, fuck stock iOS and iTunes, blablabla, etc etc
So yeah
9.5/10 and lolitaly

Did you have to re-up your contract? What does your plan look like

Yes I did
I now have a better voice/messaging plan for 30$, which is what I used to pay for a lesser plan:
200 min vs 100
Unlimited SMS from Canada to Canada/international vs nada unlimited before
And of couse, unlimited min w/e and evening (nothing changed here)
Data plan : 500 gig

I have a similar plan, originally paid $65/month. Called in to 'cancel' and got it knocked down to $42/month. I doubt they'll do that again if I re-up.

that's not too bad. I pay around 60 with my 20% discount, unlimited messaging, "unlimited" grandfathered iPhone data, and more minutes than I can use. most people I know with smartphones pay at least $80 unless they are on a shared plan.
I passed on the HTC for the Motorola Photon 4G.

Yeah; when I get a higher paying job, I'll buy phones outright

You should see what the French company aptly named "Free" offers
A friend of mine who lives in France has this:
15 Euros/month for Fibe internet
20 Euros/month for his smartphone unlimited
Fuck North America :lol

Free goes even further for their internet clients.
They get the unlimitedd mobile plan for 16€ a month (with a 3Gig data cap, once reached, the speed is supposed to drop, but never went over it, actually).

I would hold off a few months just to see:
A. What Apple might have coming
B. What Android manufacturers come out with around the same time
