Raptors really do want a different nationality for each roster spot huh
Steve Nash has the ability to sway the balance of power in either conference, and this dude is mulling over offers from Toronto and Brooklyn. smh

dude's canadian and bringing the greatest canadian bballer back home would probably boost jersey sales which would pretty much make up for the 36m/3yr overpaid contract imho

I'd say one-eyed Tony Parker has a better chance of swinging the balance of power than TOSB Nash, and this has zero homerism.

Bryan Colangelo loves getting in bidding wars with himself. It's pretty funny how people in Phoenix still think he's a great GM.

Report: Suns offer Steve Nash $6 mill a year for just two years
If true, can Steve Nash look at this as anything other than disrespect?
Not that he was headed back to Phoenix anyway, but Paul Cavlvisi of KSTAR radio in Phoenix reports the Suns offer is two years, $6 million per year. (Via IamaGM.com).
Take that with a grain of salt. But the two years thing was expected from Phoenix, that I don’t doubt. On the money side, that would be about half what the Raptors have already offered if true.
The Knicks are still trying to do a sign-and-trade to bring in Nash to his summer home, while if Deron Williams stays in Brooklyn you can bet Dallas will jump in with a healthy offer for Nash to reunite him with Dirk Nowitzki.
Nash would be smart to be patient and let the market come to him. He’ll get both money and a good landing spot if he’s patient.

a 2 year $12,000,000 deal isn't unreasonable at all. The Suns don't owe anything to Nash. It's time to move on.

I don't think the Suns made any official offer to Nash. But honestly they shouldn't. It's time to let him go. Or rather, it was time to let him go a year or two ago, but this will have to do. Overpaying to keep him in Phoenix is just treading water and dooming us to barely miss the playoffs and draft 13th every year. I love Nash, favorite Sun of all time, but the Nash era has ended.
