View Full Version : Lakers begin pursuit of Steve Nash
The Lakers have entered the bidding for Steve Nash, according to a source. In order to acquire Nash, Los Angeles would almost certainly need to execute a sign-and-trade with the Suns.Ramon Sessions, Jordan Hill and Matt Barnes are all free agents.

Now Mike Brown has another player to run down to the ground. :lmao
Nash can knock down the 3, but will he be able to pick and roll with Bynum if Kobe has the ball 80% of the time? :lmao

He can pick and roll with Kobe. He will set the pick and Kobe can still pop all the time. :lol
Tbh, I still think the Lakers have a chance at moving Gasol for some quality pieces. Nash would be a bad fit imo...

If the Suns do a sign and trade where they get Ramon Sessions and Matt Barnes I'll vomit. Just let Nash leave, you don't need to do a SnT just because you can.

Except the Suns would rather have NOTHING than have to take on Ramon Sessions, Jordan Hill and Matt Barnes.
Give us Gasol and take back Warrick and you got a deal.

Well, one can only hope that's the case.
I'd rather have nothing than Josh Childress, Hakeem Warrick or Channing Frye, but Babby seems to love role players with fat deals.

One team you can likely rule out though? The Lakers.
"The truth is I am bit old school. I think for me it would be hard to put on a Lakers jersey. That's just what it is."
God bless you, Steve Nash. That just brought a fucking tear to my eye.

backcourt defense is over rated these days....there are no PG's in the league that are good on or off the ball defenders..it's all about the Offense dawg...re-watch the games...defense is all a facade...if Da-Wight is patrolling da lane your defense just improved by a leap year...:lol
Nash isn't likely to sign with us..but one thing is for sure..He and Kobe wouldn't have too many issues with no one in the league...these two guys on the same team bring experience and an IQ level off the charts..and with declining athleticism that's all they would need to get the job done.

I think i'd like to see Nash dish to Kobe for one season.
I'm a big fan. http://www.politicsinvivo.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/office_space_25.png
Nash is a busted kidney defensively, but how do you defend a Nash/Kobe backcourt? :lol
