Mitch is a daggum genius! I can't believe how opposing front offices just let God's Gift to GMs bend them over the proverbial pool table and pound their ass bloody.

Steve Nash is a fuckin' Laker! Yep. You heard that right, you fat necked San Antonio fans. The best PG of the past 10 years is coming to the greatest sports franchise the world has ever known and will no doubt be the catalyst that will trigger another 3 peat and beyond.

And all it took to get him was a shitload of crappy draft picks! It's not like those picks were important anyway. The Lakers are an old team, but give me aging veterans any day of the week over trying to create a youth movement for the future.

Furthermore, Nash, who excels in an uptempo, run-and-gun system, will fit in brilliantly with the Lakers plodding half-court, grind-it-out philosophy. And on the defensive end, watch out! Nash is a huge upgrade over Sessions, and will have no problems keeping up with the Westbrooks, Parkers, CP3s, etc.

With one swift move, the great and holy Mitch Kupchak fixed all of the Lakers problems! Just like we thought he did last year when he signed Ramon "the Savior" Sessions!

J.H.U.T.T., bitches!

What's sad is that this will still probably get a GNSF "Uh-uh!" post.

It doesn't take a "genius" to throw a 80m contract at a guy to go way into the luxury tax (again) when your team owner has infinitely deep pockets.

It's just a given. Mitch has the easiest GM job in the NBA. Most resources of any team in NBA, most-desired free agent destination in the league, and even occaisional Stern assistance for his team during key games.

How much easier can it get? Not a genius. More like just expected considering the resources and team. They were inevitably going to get someone. Just like the Lakers always do even well before "Mitch" went there.
