I think there was over-reaction by the media throughout these playoffs. They put way too much into the previous game rather then analyzing the matchups and possible adjustments.

I don't care what anyone says about Duncan either. He may or may not have that outspoken nature publicly, but any other team in the NBA would love to have this guy on their team - bar none.

I personally give tons of props to the Spurs - what a damn fine team.

If not for Derek Fisher making that ".4" shot, the entire media world would be kissing Tim Duncan's butt for his last second clutch shot, and no one would be questioning his crunch time abilities.

HEY DON'T BLAME ME, JIM ROME.
I ARGUED TO HAVE THE FINALS BROADCASTED AS BACKGROUND NOISE TO MY DAILY TALK RADIO SHOW, IN AN EFFORT TO BOOST RATINGS.

Wonder how long this gimmick is going to last.

On topic, it just drove me up a wall how the announcers flip flopped. After Game 2, you would have thought that ABC was based out of San Antonio, and after Game 4 I thought you could literally see Steven Smith setting up camp on Chauncey's nutsack.

ABC sucks for basketball. They had a good football lineup, but I think there's something fundamentally wrong when you have Larry Brown's BROTHER as one of your main announcers, and he's matched up with Al Michaels, know for football. The one bad thing abouot the Finals is you lose your home town announcers, and you get a few idiots who don't know your team from a hole in the ground.

Throw Hubie Brown in there, and it's a deal.
