Definitely adds, if he can re-capture some of his shooting touch of yore, a great perimeter threat. Would only bolster the 3/4 and coupled with Jesus Shuttleworth, only bolsters a championship line-up further. Also, at a miniscule amount of what rediculous salary he was earning it is definitely a win-win for the Heat.

I still can't believe this motherfucker cried so badly on draft night that they had to interview his sister instead. LOL @ some dumbass bragging about her scholarship to Ranger Junior College live on TNT when we're supposed to be hearing about the dude just drafted.

That's literally the only thing I remember about Rashard Lewis since 2005.

Chris Tomasson of FOX Sports tweeted that sources are saying he’ll sign for the veterans minimum of $1.35 million next season.

From a $120 million contract to one worth $1.35 million.

Dude's beyond washed up. Hope he enjoys eating tacos on the bench with Eddy Curry.

good signing by Miami

don't know how much he has left in the tank, but if he can stand in the corner and hit 3s at a decent clip, then it's a win for them

thats because exactly how nba fans react, when a great nba player doesnt have a ring (example LeBron) hes a sore loser, now he got a ring almost everyone thinks different.
And NBA players notice that, so they go out and try to chase the ring anyway possible...

The Heat now have two players on the roster that once signed off on ridiculous contracts, to which they proved they weren't worth.

Rashard Lewis-120 mill :lol
Eddy Curry-60 mill :lmao

Miami suns?

You mean Miami Sonics?

racm
07-10-2012, 06:37 PM
Somehow I think Pat Riley really had the Allen and Lewis signings planned all along.

Good 3 point shooters to space the floor for the Big 3? Check. Both ex-Sonics players to spite the OKC fanbase? Check. Allen coming from the Heat's biggest conference rival? Check.

if he signs, its definitely worth it figuring he was inked to the worst contract in nba history .......

racm

Going from a really bad contract to a vet min to help LeBron and co win a ring? Full circle!

so here's our 9 men rotation next season if no further moves are made:

bron/wade/bosh/battier/chalmers/lewis/allen/haslem/cole, replace cole with some big (anthony for example) if we need some size, we STACKED!!!

and if we could get some upgrades at C or the coaching post, we would have the strongest squad since jordan & the bulls tbh

racm
07-10-2012, 07:05 PM
The Bulls won 72 games with Luc Longley at center, so you need the coaching improvement more. Spo is good at massaging egos but if his coaching staff had a good offensive coordinator the Heat could easily have two 65+ win seasons in a row.
