Just got word the roster has dropped from 18 to 13 for summer Leonard is one of those that have dropped. Haven't received names for the others yet

I was torn on whether Leonard should play. I could see positives either way.

But yeah, usually the Spurs invite 18 players to their summer league camp and then trim it to around 12 to 13 before the games start.

That'd be awesome if you could get info on the other cuts :)

Perhaps a couple of them got signed elsewhere? Not at all disappointed that Leonard is off. I would have been closing my eyes every time he went hard to the rim.

Oh chump dumper the staff realised that wasnt the smartest move to have Leonard play. The others dropped when they seen all the signing of other players, guess the realised they didn't have a chance to make the team, which is dumb because you can play for any summer league team and sign else where

Not too big of a deal but I would have liked to see Leonard play. Great opportunity for him to work on his game. Also a nice opportunity for him to work on his leadership skills.

Kawhi's off the team probably because they want to keep him for training camp. The guy made the All-Rookie first team and shot 50/45/83 in the playoffs!

In the past there was a separate package for the NBA Summer League. I think it was 10-20$ for all the Summer league games.

I thought the games were going to be on NBA-TV. I saw some games already!

NBA TV will televise all 60 games, including 39 live from both the Thomas & Mack Center and COX Pavilion. Games will also be available on digital platforms. Complete broadcast information will be released at a later date.

Will be looking forward to this. I will tune in solely for the purpose of seeing how the bigmen on our team play. I hope we find this years summer league version of a Gary Neal in our bigmen.

If Rondo could turn into an elite PG by being with 3 HOFers and big hands, perhaps Kawhi could become a passable ball-handler.

i trust the staff to make these decisions, but i really thought Kawhi could really use the summer league. i love what he brought as a role player but i would also love to see him in a primary role. see him work his midrange game and be the focal point of an offense
