Another Jordan bust or the next Pippen? Looks solid, although preseason doesn't mean shit.

He looks solid in summer league.

He definitely has a motor that is unmatched for a rookie in this year's draft class.

That motor and motivation can take him far.

Cho knows what he's doing, tbh...

He was with Seattle when they drafted Durant.

Big that player elite level D at college level, you don't get bigs that want to play D outta draft that often

So you go for Marcus Camby instead of a talented super athletic SF?

And you don't even think about it?

Did you see Davis in college? He was a gifted player at that level, we have yet to see how he will play at nba level.

MKG was a gamble, nobody expected him to go at 2. We haven't seen if he's the truth yet.

+bigs have extremely high value in today's shallow selection

If you really think Davis is another Camby than you just don't know what you're talking about. I like MKG as well and felt he was clearly the 2nd best prospect in the draft, but Davis has more offensive skills than MKG easily superior defensively.

if you were in portland's postion in 07 you'd probably make the same selection they made imho, dude was the #1 in all mock drafts you didn't know you were gonna get hit by bad luck. you couldn't insinuate the misfortune at that time tbh

Portland made that "selection" multiple times and got burned each time, Oden, Roy, Bayless. They each had medical red flags before the draft. It wasn't bad luck, it was foolish gambling with red flagged draft picks. Oden had surgery before he even played an NBA game. You think Portland knew nothing?

It's Bill Walton's Curse tbh

Blazers always want to draft a big man with injury issues

Oden sprained his wrist or some shit one time in his soph or junior year. Hardly a "medical red flag".

What medical red flag Roy had prior to being drafted?

I'm pretty sure MKG was the 2nd pick in most of the mock drafts right after the lottery. Then Beal started to gain steam.

Wow. Props to Jerry Chwest for making the easiest 2nd overall pick selection in sporting history.

Day before the draft I saw Robinson at #2 on several sites, MKG was 4-6. Maybe everybody changed their mind on draft day :lol
