They get a rested dirk, and a top 10 draft pick (they might trade), and they will sign a marquee free agent to join them next year.

let's be honest, mavs aren't winning shit this season.Cuban realizes this.

you just got swept 1st round, and now your team has been gutted.

make some decent signings this year so the fanbase doesn't go irate... I see this a mile away..

I'm not sure what to expect from Dirk next season. Reigning world champion Dirk often seemed bored and unfocused, and with him getting married this summer and probably trying to have a little Dirk or Dirkina, I don't know if that's going to change. :depressed

He won't give a fuck until around playoff time. He needs something big to get him interested. Remember how unmotivated he played in 08 but then went on a great stretch after the Kidd trade?

Don't see Dirk losing another year in what little remains of his career just to improve the odds for Cuban to get cheap help.
