"I notice she always seems to be looking at the camera at the right time."

She's a real pro, she and the camera are in love with each other.

In Europe in the early 80's, I met one of the stars of the 1960's Rowan and Martin Laugh-In show, who was over there with his much younger girl-friend. We spent many days and meals together, a very relaxed, unpretentious, familiar situation.

However, even when we were just messing around with somebody's snapshot camera, whenever the camera was pointed at them, the couple would immediately, reflexively go into professional poses, even fiddling with their dog's posture. It was weird and hilarious and unforgettable.
