17 ppg last year.

Blake, Goudelock, Morris, McRoberts, Barnes last year. Definately an upgrade. =P

It would def be a good pick up for their bench. Even at his advanced age and with his poor defense.

i guess jamison when we need offense, and metta when we need defense. Maybe metta off the bench?

With Nash and Jamison, along with great talent like Kobe, Pau, Bynum and Artest, there is no way the Lakers will lose next year.

Anything less than 75 game win season should be considered a failure.

Good move by LA to bolster their bench but Jamison hasn't done anything significant since playing for the Wizard uhhm 5 years ago?

If LA doesn't re-sign Jordan Hill then this Jamison signing is moot. Lakers need youth and athleticism and Jordan Hill would flourish under Steve Nash tbfh.

Killakobe81
07-16-2012, 11:06 PM
We had no shot at Mayo. Both hills are possible, but not probable. Wanted OJ but we need more reliable shooting and Mayo is very streaky. Kobe runs hot and cold a bit too ...

Of course you would have...any team would..the guy has never had a PG like Nash to feed him...imagine how Nash will revitalize Jamison...open looks all day..Jamison I think will play like he did against Lebron a few yrs back...he was just lacking the motivation for the Bullets and then the Cavs ..this will be great pick-up by LA and it's what I was hoping for....:lol

At least now the Lakers organization will save on dinner fare with the majority of the team falling under the 'Early Bird Specials' at most eateries. Maybe AARP can be a new lead sponsor for the team.

I'll :downspin: it. Lakers are notorious for blowing leads. Although these guys are TOSBs, they are still skilled, know their roles, and in limited minutes can still be effective. If they play 30 mpg, we're f:lolcked. However, in a clearly defined role, their good for us.

We have a top 5 starting lineup with Nash, Kobe, MWP, Pau and Bynum. They will play significant mpg. Our bench was dead last in the playoffs. We will have a more efficient starting lineup. All we need now are players off the bench that won't get the "deer in the headlights" look on LA's big stage or shit the bed in the playoffs. Jamison, if we get him, was 17/6 as a starter. As a backup in LA, it should be about 13 ppg with higher efficiency playing against scrubs. He'll be a boost to last year's woeful bench.

Jamison and his 40% shooting won't help much there. Lakers really need some athletic defenders, not more AARP members.

Nazr leaving OKC. Perkins, Ibaka, Collison, and Aldr:lolch have to deal with Bynum, Pau, Hill, and Jamison. Difference? Nash getting our bigs shots in their sweet spots all game long. Advantage: LA.
