I liked Larry Coon's retweet after getting to the Spurs/Lakers game at halftime:

That's what I heard. RT @avelarde2 (http://twitter.com/avelarde2): you missed the Kawhi show in the first half
By his third year he'll be in the second tier of SFs. Probably even better than Gay or Iggy.

He won't be as good as LeBron or Durant. But the kid has all star potential

If he were franchise level material he'd be picked top 3.
As it is he'd be a good number 2 on a contender.

I wonder how high he would be drafted if the 2011 draft would be redone? I'd say maybe as high as fifth, tbh.

Not saying this list isn't ok, but I could see him go higher than Faried and Knight.

TBH, Faried was an effing beast on the second part of last season...
Totally outbeasted Blair first (and best) year...

Leonard is a better player than Faried. He's got way more skills and is much more vesatile.
Numbers don't tell the whole story. If Kawhi was on that Nuggets team last year instead of Faried who knows what his numbers would have been like.....
They have different roles. Faried's a rebounder, Leonard is a jack of all trades.

Isaiah Thomas - super draft steal.
Had no idea the 2011 draft was solid; was probably deemed weaker due to the lockout.

Wouldve been nice if we were able to get thomas and kawhi.
Thomas was available at #59. Then again they got Joseph...

What's the source? A lot of those numbers don't pass the common sense test.

They don't match basketball-reference.com numbers at all.

Yeah, I didn't even check. Just saw examples like Ben Wallace and Beno with higher numbers than Kobe and Tony. That doesn't make sense.

Wages of Wins. :lol
I figured that, but was there a particular article where they explain the numbers in that graphic?
Average Wins Produced through the past three seasons. Since WP favors players who rebound well, Leonard gets such a high rating.
Not to mention he was 9th in the league in Offensive Rating.

Kawhi is a motherfucking beast right now on 2k12 for those of u that play.
What's his rating? Somewhere in the 80s?

Like 76 but he rebounds crazily and cuts well. He's like the easiest and best spur player to play with in 2k.
76 is amazing for a non-lottery pick.
