Figured I'd make this thread here.

Game will be played tomorrow in Barcelona, Spain. It'll be televised live on ESPN2 at 3:30 pm ET, or 2:30 pm CT for the most of us.

I'm torn about this one, tbh... Being an American c:lolt:lolz:loln, I could easily hitch the Team USA bandwagon and roll with it... but then cheering for Kobe... ugh...

Argentina has no shot at winning this game, regardless...

I thought it was at 2:30 CT (7 hours back from the timeframe in Barcelona)

According to this time on the offical Team USA website

http://www.usabasketball.com/mens/national/12_mnt_results.html

It indicates the game starts at 7:30 pm (Barcelona time; 7 hours ahead of CT time here in the states). It also indicates it'll be showed on ESPN2...

I think you meant it'll be replayed on NBATV (on primetime schedule) at 11:00 pm CT

Doubt it, tbh... While I think ARG will try to play better than they did against Spain, a spanking by this Team USA wouldn't be surprising at all.

That said, if the US shoots and defends like they did against Brazil, every one of these teams have a shot.

i see other people put him in the tier of joe johnson/monta

ginobili is the best at getting to the rim of kobe/wade and hitting free throws
wade is good at splitting double teams but he cant finish anymore
kobe gets to the rim maybe once a game now

ginobili is also easily the best 3 point shooter/shooter
i know kobe put up some of the worst numbers ever for an all star 2 guard shooting wise and wade i dont even wanna bother

kobe/ginobili are the same defensively
wade is the best but only because of his elite athleticsim

ginobili is easily the best passer/playmaker
wade and kobe are good but theyre iso guys
you cant really put the ball in their hand and run an offense like you can with ginobili

ginobili is also imo more clutch then kobe and easily wade
kobe is a volume shooter who goes 0/9 then might make the last shot so he gets a reputation of being clutch
ginobili makes the shots before that and the final ones
hes also one of the few players ive seen who have won games getting steals/blocks/assists/getting to the foul line/drawing charges/flops

No, no. There are good teams out there. We know that. We don’t overlook any opponent and we feel like that there are lot of tough teams that if we don’t come to play, if we don’t play up to our level, they can beat us. Argentina is one of them, Spain is one of them, Brazil is one of them. These are three of the best warmup games you could probably ask for against those three tough teams.

Right now, they're better. Don't know sweep, but they definitely win.... 6-7 years ago, ARG sweeps them... it's all pointless anyways, because there are no 7 games series. tbh when it counts, I'm more afraid of Westbrick's potential to fuck up games late in games.

Lebron won't fuck up games or choke. I think that label should be removed from him.

Melo is the culprit who would choke and under-perform as he's so use to doing.

If Melo ain't hitting his shots, he's useless in this type of game. Sure he rebounds, but other than that, the guy does nothing to help the offense or defense.

With or without NBA players in the rest of the teams 1992 Dream Team was much better than 2012 Dreaming Team is.

Of course, the 1992 team was better constructed and was the epithome of versatility, having many players to play many positions on different ways, they had easilly 5 players with bbiq off the charts, than no one on this team matches those top 3. And had 2 amazing defensive/offensive centers.

If you go by legend names, this team has only LeBron, Durant and Bryant, those are the only ones to be able to end their career at the status of the big names on the 1992 team.

I call it like this, 1992 was the dream team, this one is the ESPN team.
