Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak spoke today with Andrew Bynum's agent David Lee about a contract extension for Bynum.

Kupchak doesn't see an extension as being imminent even though talks were "positive and productive."

"The next day or two? The next week or two?" Kupchak asked. "No I don't think so. Hopefully it progresses."
