Tomorrow comes the day when two of the Spurs legends for the past ten years will be playing against each other. It will be the first chance to see the Church of Tony and Church of Manu cheering for different teams. :lol

This is going to be a great game, as the FNT will have a lot to prove. I believe ElNono mentioned that anyone playing the USA is going to be tough to get a good read on. However, Argentina played really great against a not bad Lithuanian team. Hope it's on NBCSN and not on one of the porn channels DPG was talking about. For the life of me I can't find the NBC Olympic Basketball channel on Time Warner Cable.

Manu's plan against parker today :
Manu Ginobili says he's been giving his Argentine teammates a few tips about how to play Tony Parker.
"Go right up to him," Ginobili said, "and go 'whooo!'"
Ginobili blew air out of his mouth.
"That should fog up his goggles," he said.

The only way this game is even competitive is if Tony Parker goes off. France looked worse against the US than I thought they would. I thought maybe they'd be a little competitive with an MVP candidate and a potential all star on their team, but a lack of size hurt them a lot.
We're gonna see a nice match up: Scola - Diaw, altough they've seen each other in Japan 2006.

I donīt see it clearly as a win for us (i am from argentina), this time Parker wonīt be goig against Paul, Williams and Westbrook. Heīll go against Prigioni and Campazzo.
I expect him to go off, given that and the debatable Argentinean interior defense.
Argentina by talent is maybe inferior, but as a team the have something else.

Last year was so great with all the player healthy and available. The silver medal only losing against spain.
Noah was great, Batum was great even offensively, Parker was dominating and it gave us tons of hope for a medal this year.
4 month ago, everything was still great
And now, Noah is not there, Batum has not trained or played during the whole preparation because of his contract not signed, Parker is not even at 50%

Damn, what a great game. I'm guessing Argentina's experience will allow them to pull away in the fourth but France has put up a really good fight. Diaw and Seraphin being in foul trouble will make it even tougher for France ... but Traore or whatever his name is more skilled than I thought.
