School isn't so hard, nor is it worthwhile or smart IMO to be financially broke just to bump up from a 3.79 to a 3.9. Yes, in the real world, unless you have some amazing degree from an incredible school, that difference from that to what M>S has really doesn't do much. In fact, when you can say that you played sports at a high level (or something similar), worked and still cranked out a solid GPA that usually goes further than just having a 3.9 on there.

It's not that a good GPA is a bad thing or won't help, but if you are really focusing to the point where grades are it, you better have a 4.0 or it makes little sense to me.
