Yohan Blake upset Usian Bolt in the 100m in 9.72 to 9.75. American Tyson Gay won the bronze in 9.80.

Bolt turned the trick in the 200m winning in 19.65, Blake took second in 19.73, the bronze went to that skinny white French dude.

The Jamicans won the 4x1 big, becoming the first team to run a sub 37.00 with their stunning 36.96. USA was way back at 38.35 just ahead of Trinidad at 38.40.

So far China has won the most gold medals...The Chinese athletes can't wait to get home and show the medals off to the kids who made them...

the easiest predictions are in the swimming pool where phelps will grab the gold in almost every race he participates in, phelps will win the most golds as an individual guaranteed and who gives a shit about how many golds/silvers/bronzes the country wins as a whole?

most of the medals are personal achievements for each individual, except only a small portion of them which are normally known as team sports like basketball, soccer, cricket, baseball etc... and you only award 1 gold medal in each of these events

its interesting to see the sports where has less fundng do well, while the popular sports continue to get funding but dont deliver results....
