Rangers are playing like ass right now, no doubt. All they have to do is play up to their abilities and they easily win the division though :lol Unless they simply tank the rest of the season, they're winning the division. :lol overpay for Greinke, still have to fight for the WC with Oakland and Detroit.

:lmao "we don't care that we gave up our best prospect for a rental! It's okay"

and when it comes to rosters playing at their peak, Rangers win. It's close but the Rangers are simply a more talented team. Fortunately for you the Rangers may not play at their peak again all season. It's hard to sustain multiple years of WS level success unless you can just buy whatever you want like the Yankees.

Just Amarelooms being Amarelooms, tbh. His bullshit memos are some of the worst shit this forum has ever seen. Yeah, the Rangers are sucking ass right now, but I STILL don't think the Angels or A's will pass them. They'll wake up. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

lol our best prospect is a scrub who won't have play time for the next 3 years....that for an ace....keep thinking its overpaying bud.

Machine is right. They don't need Segura long-term and they can still resign Greinke after the season. He wants to play for a winner and will sign wherever he gets the best chance to win long-term.

The Angels pitching is too stacked right now. Texas still has a ton of talent, but they're not a shoe in to win the division.

Good deal by the Angels.

IMHO this is quietly becoming the most competitive rivalry in baseball.

This rivalry has replaced Boston-New York in terms of MLB's version of an arms race. The division is wide open now

Couple in the Moneyballin' A's and the AL West has become the most exciting division in MLB in my opinion. Next year when the Astros join--it'll still feel like a 4-team division!!! Poor 'Stros :cry

shitty performance by the bullpen...frieri wasting a baller effort from Pujols. Good game though.

I dunno...but getting 3 runs and 4 runs in the 10th was pretty clutch on both sides.

Rangers will never win a WS as long as 90210 is a fan...he's the Eddie Mush of the Rangers fanbase.

Yeah man--that was playoff-type baseball last night with both sides showing what they're capable of when given the chance. I would have liked the Angels to have been the victors, but it was still a great game to watch if you like the higher scoring games. Probably would've pinch ran for Morales, in the top of the 9th but then again, with the way Frieri was throwing beach balls out there maybe it wouldn't have really mattered. It's a shame the Astros are a year out from the AL West because it seems Pujols likes playing in Arlington and Minute Maid. Should be a good end to the series tonight.

Brutally dumb move to leave Morales in when you had Kendrick Wells etc on the bench to run. You always go for the win when you have it in hand.

Tried to milk the starting pitcher too long also.

Borjous would've been my choice...yeah, kept Richards in on that 4-spot int he 5th was too long. He, Scosh, should have Richards, Santana, and Williams on that 5 inning limit. Richards could not get anyone out for sure.

rangers have been a top-tier team in the league for decade long and they'll wake up, but i still won't fancy them in the world series unless they figure out a solution to fix the hole at 1B

Been a Rangers fan probably longer than you've been alive, son. Ask the REAL Rangers fans on this forum...they know I was there before the run to the WS.

Yeah..that makes a lot of fucking sense. Spurs won titles...Cowboys won titles...but yeah, I'm a jinx...stfu.

This...really wish we could have worked something out for Fielder...or even Pujols before he went to LA. Was really thinking that's what we'd go after before the trade deadline, but when Colby went down, we had to go after an arm. Just hope tonight's game isn't typical of what'll happen when Dempster's on the mound.

Not sure if that was sarcastic or not, but that kid's legit...he's at least above average...although rumor has it they want him at 3rd. That's his natural position.
