If either of them played Kobe one on one, and all they could shoot were jumpers, who would win? :downspin:

Kobe.

Wade and LeBron have played so many times together that they're looking to find eachother with a pass.

Kobe can't see teammates anyways, so he'll let it fire and score.

Obviously Kobe is the best at shooting contested fadeaways because that's all he does these days. Plenty of practice.

Of course, winning a jumpshooting 1-on-1 match is virtually meaningless in the larger context of the game of basketball. Wade and LeBron are pretty clearly superior in most other aspects of the team game, and are certainly better basketball players at this juncture than Kobe.

Thanks for making my point for me. Despite going into his 17th year and still basically leading the league in scoring, he is still getting it done. This without having to dunk on everybody like he used to do on the regular. Still 1st team all NBA and 1st team all NBA defense. Get this: at Wade's position. :toast

I'm curious to see the thoughts from HH and Ace on this topic. :downspin:

You mean 43% Kobe vs 53% LeBron? LeBron would manhandle the smaller Kobe not just in rebounding but every other aspect. LeBron is bigger, stronger and faster. Seriously does Laker fan think Kobe has a chance?

You're right on the physical aspect.. but Kobe at his prime has skills that far far outdo Lebron

Subtract the layups, and-1s and dunks. Then tell me what his shooting % is. :lol

36% from three. Kobe has 30%. Or aren't you talking about threes too? :lol

Try to spin it your way by taking everything away but fadeaways to show Kobe has a higher % at that department. :lmao

LeBron could post Kobe all day and LeBron is miles better on the defensive end.

What was he supposed to get into a media argument over who would win? Everyone already knows who the better player is at this point.

LeBron would shut down Kobe, 30% FG
So LeBron would win.

Ray Allen would be better tbh and he's older

It's been established you don't watch any other games besides Laker games but you could have watched the finals atleast. Maybe I'm giving you too much credit...

That's actually the exact opposite of my point.

In his 17th year, Kobe is a team cancer who believes so strongly in his own superiority that it hurts his team immensely (particularly in the playoffs). He's become quite one-dimensional these days, chucking his teams out of games with great regularity, and displaying defense that is barely adequate compared to younger superstars or defensive specialists. At this point, he's certainly undeserving of first-team anything. It's a travesty that it took until this year for Tony Allen to unseat Kobe from his undeserved all-defense throne.
