How many atheist organizations are there in the world that go to impoverished countries and feed, clothe, and provide sources of clean water to them?
I support a Christian organization that does that around the world. And, it's not the only one.
Here in the United States, I support St. Jude's Childrens' Research Hospital -- a Christian based medical facility that provides cancer treatment to children, regardless of their ability to pay. The Masons -- a Christian Group -- operates a number of Childrens' hospitals, around the country, that specialize in burns and orthopedics.
LOL Atheists. What have they ever done for society?

The lack of atheist organizations is puzzling. I can't imagine why a group of people who don't believe in religion wouldn't be motivated to organize around a shared concept on religion.......

It's equally puzzling why this unorganized group would donate their time and dollars to established charities.

What, you think that business owners might want to change the term from to a more neutral saying in order to encourage more business from consumers who might otherwise use their freedom of choice to neglect the business?
No silly, of course it's a conspiracy. We also try to take down crosses in public settings (not because it's against the law, but because we hate other religions).*
[To be honest, I really don't agree with atheists and other who push for these kinds of things. If it's something egregious, like the Ten Commandments in a courtroom, then sure. Christmas is a Christian holiday to celebrate Jesus Christ. That's just how it is and how it always will be. It drives atheist crazy! Most of them do not know what to do. Most feel pressured to celebrate Christmas. They don't want to come off the wrong way to family, friends, coworkers, etc. Atheist parents with small kids are really in a pickle. They dont want their children to feel awkward or feel left out. I think atheist should come up with their own holiday to celebrate whatever it is they want and leave Christmas alone. That way they can feel comfortable with their peeps. God bless

Sorry sister, but you didn't. Regardless, if you are not asking god to bless you then that means you are asking god to bless something else. Typically that usage is to say god bless whatever you are discussing or the person you are having the discussion with.
Either way you are asking god to bless something other than yourself whichis projecting your religion.

Christmas is the Pagans' greatest invention, tbh....
I find this one of the most ironic things ever.
Now I am one who, because of tradition, does not want "Merry Christmas" to be replaced by anything else. That said, Christmas is not Jesus' birthday.
The Christians are guilty of theft. Christmas was invented by authoritarians about 300 AD to replace the Pagans' winter solstice celebrations with something to convert them with.
I forget the passage, or exact quote, but somewhere in the Bible, it specifically says not to dress up a tree like the pagans do.
I respect Christians, but the faith was hijacked long ago, and few Christians really know what Christianity is suppose to be.

Is rthat because of what the planetary alignments would have been?
Scripture indicates it would have been sometime in the spring, but I don't recall seeing anything with a definite date. I have seen something in the past indicating possible celestial alignments that gave clue to a possible date, but nothing exacting.
I'd be curious of that reference if it's not to much work for you.

Scripture indicates it would have been sometime in the spring, but I don't recall seeing anything with a definite date. I have seen something in the past indicating possible celestial alignments that gave clue to a possible date, but nothing exacting.
I'd be curious of that reference if it's not to much work for you.
Yeah you should go by markers from the book where they came up with the earth being 6000 years old. The 4 gospels diverge so significantly from how many thieves were saved to how judas was killed to who was the ruler at the time of jesus' birth. it's so incredibly full of shit. But of course the local idiot wants it treated literally.
CONTEXT!!! YOU'RE TAKING IT OUT OF CONTEXT!!

I'll post more with you here if you tell us the story of your being born again.
Ron bless.
More miscommunication. You're still posting here and you are projecting, again. I'll be gone for a few days. Good luck. God bless

I forget the passage, or exact quote, but somewhere in the Bible, it specifically says not to dress up a tree like the pagans do.
Jeremiah 10.
it's open to interpretation, imo.

I never said I would stop posting -- I said i would post more with you and take part in your little reindeer games if you were honest about your religion. You're still posting here and projecting. You'll still be a godless coward when you get back. Good luck.
Ron bless.
