Top 3's in the list are pretty much the general consensus among everyone. OP isn't going out on a limb with these predictions... not that there's a reason to.

I don't wanna rank every single team in the league (so Harlem please don't think of me as a big meanie head) so instead I'll just give my top 10
1. Miami
2. OKC
3. San Antonio
4. LA Lakers
5. LA Clippers
6. Boston
7. Dallas
8. New York
9. Indiana
10. Denver
This is considering the teams are mostly healthy.
East:
1. Miami (Does anyone else stand a chance? Hopefully.)
2. Boston
3. Indiana
4. New York (If they figure things out, has potential to move to 2nd place.)
5. Brooklyn
6. Chicago (Thibs will find a way to win without Rose.)
7. Philadelphia
8. Orlando (If trades Howard moves to 11-13.)
9. Atlanta
10. Milwaukee
11. Toronto
12. Washington
13. Detroit
14. Cleveland
15. Charlotte
West:
1. OKC
2. LA Lakers
3. San Antonio
4. LA Clippers
5. Memphis
6. Dallas
7. Denver
8. Minnesota
9. Portland
10. Golden State (Drops a couple spots if unhealthy.)
11. New Orleans
12. Utah
13. Phoenix
14. Sacramento
15. Houston
East:
MIA (duh)
IND (not much change in core guys)
BOS (Doc will likely give DNPs to Pierce and Garnett a la Pop)
NYK (Melo's team now)
BKN (:lol Joe Johnson)
CHI (around .500 before Rose returns, Thibs will run Deng/Boozer/Noah into the ground)
PHI (:lol Hawes-Kwame Brown frontcourt)
WAS (make or break year for Wall)
ATL (Danny Ferry has hit the reset button and has a real chance of landing Dwight in free agency)
MIL (:lol Chuckers in the backcourt)
CLE (Kyrie = beast.)
DET (played .500 ball after a bad start, they SHOULD play Monroe more)
ORL (regardless of whether Dwight lands, rookie coach + bad atmosphere)
TOR (:lol Raptors)
CHA (no where to go but up)
West:
OKC (Dallas won 67 games after losing in 2006. Lakers won 65 games after losing in 2008)
SAS (Great regular season team, just needs less Bonner in the playoffs)
LAL (:lol Mike Brown)
LAC (:lol Vinny)
MEM (I don't see them making the leap to real contender. Their core is a bunch of complementary pieces to a superstar)
DAL (Dirk + Carlisle + Marion are good enough to carry them to the playoffs)
DEN (:lol Enver Nuggets)
MIN (The Wolves improved merely by adding AK)
GSW (health health health)
UTA (:lmao Mo Williams)
PHO (Dragic + Scola = Spur killers)
POR (wtf)
NOH (unibrow = ROY)
SAC (lol no defense)
HOU (Lin will put up good numbers but the roster is a mess)

we're now the team to beat no doubt but i don't think the followers are that distant tbh. spurs were the team with the best regular season record last season despite playing in a more competitive conference than ours, teams who have quality bigs often cause us alot of troubles in the paint especially when it comes to playoffs. and the coaching post which was the weakest link on our team the past two seasons, remains unfixed

Move LA to 1st in the West, tbh..
Orlando is now the worst team in the East IMO..
Philly is now 6th and on the next tier..

The Spurs first and Lakers third because this is the regular season we're talking about; not who's most likely to win the championship. And regular season wise, there's a reason the Spurs have been absolute beasts the past two years. Or in this case, three: Chemistry, continuity and unparalleled depth. While the Lakers inevitably deal with their usual drama, look for the Spurs to hit the ground running.

The rest can very well tank to get a high draft pick. OKC can be beat if they lock down Harden. Miami showed us how to beat OKC. Westbrook & Durant can get their points, but if Harden is out of the game, then it's over.

I want to put my boys on top of the WC (seeding wise), but can't until I see them on the floor. Plus I'll give OKC the benefit of the doubt (for now) being WC champs and all.
We also have to stay healthy all year long which is questionable considering our 72 year old starting backcourt and our starting center coming off back surgery. I say this because MB may run them all in the ground like he is notorious for doing.

More comments:
Actually the more I think about it, the more I think Denver is just as big a loser in this trade as the Magic. Why would you help a declining team in your conference become a super power? Why replace Afflalo with Iggy, if you now have to face a Laker team with DH? They'll never beat them, I don't get why they helped make this happen, unless they really are happy being a middle of the road team.

1.) Miami- dynasty on the rise
2./3.) OKC/LA. This is a tossup because LA could have easily had a 3-1 series lead on OKC last year, and they did upgrade with Howard and Nash (Despite being 39, he is better than any other pg they had). OKC has done NOTHING to improve their roster. They have no scoring bigman. Harden is a worthless piece of shit if he isn't bulldozing his way to the ft line. His D is awful and he doesn't have much athleticism. Ibaka is a terrible man to man defender. These 2 teams will meet in the WCF and it will go 7.
4.) Boston- ECF bound again
5-30.) :lol

Nice, partially biased post. Can't say I disagree, although I believe the Lakers have the most balanced starting 5 in the league. In the playoffs the starters' minutes goes up and rotations are shortened. The issue with us is will MB run his starters into the ground during the RS. I hope not...

Nah, either way, the Lakers were going to be great. Nash, Kobe, Pau, and Bynum would have wreaked shop tbh. The funny part? Cuban has fucked with the Lakers many times by signing players that would have gone to the Lakers. I look at the Nuggets roster and want to be a believer, but the fact is this is a superstar's league and they have no transcendant players. The 2004 Pistons are the only team I can remember to pull off that feat (in my lifetime)

It's a tossup between the Knicks and Nets. I agree that the past few years the Nuggets have been amongst the most overrated, but this might be their best team of the past decade - as a regular season team. As a playoff team, as always, they're going nowhere. The only chance they'd have of even winning a round is if they can get fifth and get the Clippers.

Realistically their best team was 2009. If they had mastered the art of the inbound pass then they could've gone on to face Orlando in the Final.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Clippers would beat them. I'm just saying, that the Nuggets only chance of winning a round would be in that scenario. Either that or they draw one of the big three and whichever one they get has a least one major injury.
DeadlyDynasty, I'm not sold that this Nuggets team won't be better than the '09 team. Unfortunately for them, the conference is much stronger than it was in '09, so they have no chance of going as far as that team did.
