it's sickening. NBA has some of the worst owners/organizations I can think of. it's like they enjoy getting kobied in the ass by the Lakers.

They're probably thinking their chances at a championship aren't as good as getting a share of LAL's luxury tax.

The Spurs should disown Hennigan and scrub any reference of him from their records, tbh... he simply is no longer :cry classy :cry enough to be associated with them...

Pop probably wants to do that in the morning. Can't wait to see his reaction to this latest shit sandwich.

Poor Jacque Vaughn. His best player is Jameer Nelson and Hedo Turkoglu making 12 million in 2012.

Final Nets offer Orlando rejected in July: Lopez, Humphries (1 year, $9.6M), Brooks, 4 unprotected No. 1's for Howard, JRich, Duhon, Clark.

That's good for him, low expectations. That's why they hired his cheap ass. They are looking to save money.

They were better off dumping Howard to Houston for young prospects and Martin expiring.

I'm sure he's not there to lose. Sadly that's exactly what the Magic are going to do.

20 other teams should be clearing cap now or field the cap requirements and just collect the shared revenue...nba has become a fkn joke

Sure he is. If they felt they could complete, they would have brought in a proven performer, not an assistant to another head coach.

good news is we don't have to face them until the finals and hope we can find out a solution to their dominance in the paint. mediocre as the magic was, that nigga DH used to cause us tons of troubles almost single handedly time after time. we're still the favorite to win NBA championship but it's no longer a guaranteed one for us like last season tbh, niggas must work hard and play their best against the lakers if they want to win it again

Seriously can somebody explain the trade? Didn’t the Magic receive better offers from the Nets? Also a year ago the Lakers would have moved Bynum & Gasol…

Go easy on Hennigan. Hearing Orl Pres Alex Martins likely ran this one. Always good to have non-bball folks make critical decision.

I think the Magic just wanted Howard off the team and Howard, contrary to reports, wanted to be in LA. What player with Howard's bargaining power would go to the Nets?

What's the odds he pulls an Odom?

hard to believe how shitty this deal is for orlando. philly, denver, and la fans should be thanking them.

obvious salary dump and wanting to get 1st round picks. They're going to compete with the bobcats now for "shittiest team for the next 5 years" . Granted they'll have a lot of cap room to sign another star along with the picks, but still :lol

afflalo's contract is more expensive and longer than richardson's. can't believe the magic didn't at least get turkoglu off the books.

He wouldn't pull an Odom even if he went to Rockets, although he would have indeed left them after the season. Dwight has sponsors pressuring him to continue his level of play
