He will test free agency where he will ultimately choose Dallas next summer. He doesn't want to live in Kobe's and the other great laker bigs shadows. Book this shit faggots, Dwight will be a Maverick and y'all will be shitting your pants at the thought of Double D Dynasty :lmao

i think DH will choose the team which he'll get the most $ from and that team is the lakers imho unless he finds it difficult to get along with kobego, and even in this scenario he'd demand a trade rather than leave 30m on the table to join dallas or any other team. stop dreaming of signing DH as a free agent when even your homeboy deron chose to re-sign for the extra 30m tbh

He'll retires as a Laker I think. Sad part for him is he has to deal with Kobe's ego for 2-3 more years.

Why would he want to be in Dallas, tbh?

He will get incentives from his endorsements to stay, he will get the Holleywood exposure he has always wanted, he will be leading the Lakers after Kobe retires and Lakers have the resources to continue building the team through trades whilst giving the middle finger to luxury tax.

You think Kobe will be that horrible to make him give all that up? I mean, Kobe is one of his favorite players growing up too.

He's not coming to Dallas.

Andrew Bynum on the other hand? If he doesnt end up incredibly pleased with the results of his tenure with Philly, I wouldn't be shocked if he comes to Dallas.

He's not taking $25.6 million less to leave what is basically his hometown.

No shit, he'd just tell them he's not staying and demand a trade, tbh...

I agree... the rest of the Lakers are old... he wants to go to a young team where he has a chance to win multiple titles. It'll be the Nets, where he always wanted to go.

If Dallas doesn't pick him up, the Spurs will... we have the assets... Bonner is a valuable expiring contract...

it baffles me how there're still mavs fans thinking they still have a chance at DH or any big name who can possibly turn FA next season. deron is yo homeboy and the big D is his hometown which means no state tax if he comes to dallas, and he still chose to stay with a shitty franchise for the sake of $
