soooooo, los gigantes have 45 left to go. If they make the playoffs and get 5 games in, he'll be able to come back. Problem is, SF would have to leave a roster spot open going into the postseason for a guy who may be too rusty to be effective at that point.

I could understand an increase in power numbers were strength is key, but good hitting averages usually have more to do with hand-eye coordination. Did this guy really go from being a .275 career hitter to a .350 hitter by simply shooting up some testosterone ?
