1. I'm not Romney.
2. I'll be mean to rich people.
That's pretty much all he's got.
That's pretty much all he needs.

Obama's been pretty nice to rich people :lol
His platform is more like, "I might use the government to help rich people but Romney will be much worse!"

:lol It's more like: "I'll say mean things to rich people while they keep making out like bandits instead of being completely transparent about it!"

Dems definition of "rich" -- people that "didn't build that" small business, making 200k.

That's what I didn't get about this whole debate. We've been living under the bush tax cuts, for what, 12 years? These were supposed to create jobs. Where are they? Oh, I get it, we need more tax cuts, that'll do the trick. Anybody who still subscribes to any sort of supply side economic theory is a mother fucking moron.

Tax rates are as low as they've been in like 30 years. When should we expect tax cuts to lead to job creation?

That's because neocons stop at just tax cuts, tbh.... they'd never consider real spending cuts because then somebody might realize how bloated their beloved military is, tbh....

GM is alive.

General Motors Is Headed For Bankruptcy -- Again
President Obama is proud of his bailout of General Motors. That’s good, because, if he wins a second term, he is probably going to have to bail GM out again. The company is once again losing market share, and it seems unable to develop products that are truly competitive in the U.S. market.
Right now, the federal government owns 500,000,000 shares of GM, or about 26% of the company. It would need to get about $53.00/share for these to break even on the bailout, but the stock closed at only $20.21/share on Tuesday. This left the government holding $10.1 billion worth of stock, and sitting on an unrealized loss of $16.4 billion.
