“This is not a revolutionary comment,” Touré later said. “This is a constituency all-white party that rejects the black vote.”

Lol -- rejects the black vote. I'm sure the GOP will gladly accept the 2-3% that they may get from blacks. Can you imagine how it be if whites voted in the high 90's for one party?

I can. Said party would probably always win?

It's a healthy thing to have diversity of thought.

Sure. They're a minority though. I could see where their thoughts are somewhat unified because of that. Not that what that guy said isn't stupid.

Other minority groups aren't unified to the tune of ~97%. They are embarrassingly unified.

Other minority groups don't have a presidential candidate. Wouldn't shock me at all to see ~97% unity on latinos backing up a potential lefty prez candidate.

African-Americans always vote >90% for Democrats. Obama being black only bumped that a bit.

My point is that almost 70% of latinos voted for Barry last time around. I can easily see that going up another 20% if it's a lefty hispanic candidate.

BTW, you can probably thank Barry Goldwater for det one.

On another note, party identification with blacks is changing... it's mostly in-line with latinos these days:

Media's method is to bring some over the top idiot on, have him say controversial shit to stir their target audience, then have the host distance himself from the guest by calling him out on his statements. This both gets the message to the viewer in order to swing the ignorant mass vote and keeps plausible deniability for the station.

It's amazing that Americans haven't caught on to these schemes yet, that they still get on forums like this and go head to head with other sheep as if any of their ramblings mean a goddamned thing.

Corporate America runs the media and media has shock collars on the sheep (that's you).
