Who is it?
I'm going with Shawn Kemp.
We all know about this tragic story. Unbelievable athlete, pea brain. He not only fathered Monkeyball but also 15 children. His drug abuse is well documented.
All that said, I think he's the original monkeyballer. Here's a sample of his work:

Wilt Chamberlain tbh. Although when you're a 7 foot black man playing against a bunch of 6-4 white guys, all you really need is monkeyball to succeed.

Shawn Kemp also probably fathered Antonio Cromartie and Noel Divine since they have like 80 kids between the tres of 'em.

in a way it was MJ, but not because he played or endorsed playing a monkeyball style, rather he was just able to do it so easily that people only focused on that part of his game, as opposed to his incredible post game, midrange jumper, and other fundamentals he greatly developed.

This is true... but MJ also had a competitiveness and will to win that none of the usual monkeyballers have, tbh... Dwight, Blake... they're all about prepping the next ASG dunk, IMO...

Nah, Blake's apparently been working on his jumper with a coach, while Dwight "Monkeyball" Howard has been busy crying about :cry his back :cry tbh....

Can't monkey around forever, especially when you're a 23 year old kneeless albino fag and Dwight is guarding the rim.

who do you guys think is the biggest relative monkeyballer of all time though?
I think Spud + Nate Robinson/50 Cent are up there. 5'7" humans are not supposed to be able to jump, put the ball through their legs, and dunk.

its quite obvious, that the original monkeyballer was The Glorified Ben Wallace, bill russel

u never see 7'0 guys playin' any sort of monkey ball imho. guards and small forwards keep throwing themselves into the 3-sec zone and beating the defenders with superior athleticism, that's what monkey ball means in most people's mind imho
