Wouldn't a musician want anyone as a fan? I mean if you are trying to be successful, wouldn't you want to have fans from all walks of life because of the whole word of mouth thing? Person A likes a certain band or singer and tells Person B about it and it goes on and on and on and a fanbase forms. Not trying that it's 100 percent all the time like that. I'm just saying that liberal celebs should the fuck up about it and be thankful that they have the fans that they have despite political differences.

As far as I can tell, musicians aren't asking Ryan to stop being a fan. They're asking him to stop playing their music in his political rallies. I guess it makes sense if they don't share the same political views and don't want the band associated with those views.
