Hardly. It's just Scientific American isn't what it used to be.

What ever happened to scientific skepticism?

I subscribe to SA. To say they are "science fiction" wouldn't be fair for all the great in depth articles they provide. Climate change and science is probably one of the few things where skepticism can be brought upon most notably.. I give you that. Great magazine nonetheless.

Did you read the article?
Yes, and shit like this is bothersome:

At present, humanity is altering the climate 5,000 times faster than the pace of the most rapid natural warming episode in our planet’s past.
No mention of the natural changes as well, the reader is left to assume only man is responsible.

They have for the last several years I remember, never sided on the true science of being a skeptic first when it comes to global warming causes. Always the cheerleaders for the alarmist cult.

Is my viewpoint of that wrong?

gecko/ryan/repug showtime will lose a lot of viewers and coverage to Isaac beating up New Orleans.

Are you sure it was said by Limbaugh tongue-in-cheek?
Because it's not much of a stretch to believe Blowhard would spew such crap.

Or that his followers would believe it. :rollin

This. Amazing how people with absolutely no scientific background consider themselves such experts on subjects like Climate Change and Evolution.

Isn't bitching about climate change on the same level as bitching about abortion? Nothing is going to change so why bitch about it?

It's amazing that people can't see that when an article states bullshit, there is reason not to believe the rest.
