Idk if this is counts but gym/fitness elitists are the worst. Probably because they're all wannabe alpha males. I'm an admitted music elitist. It comes with the territory of having played the instruments and done the whole rock band thing over the years. Worst kind of elitist is music. There are an almost infinite number of bands putting out music at any given time today, yet when you ask a music snob for their 10 favorite current albums or artists, it's pretty much the same list you'd get from another music snob... and it will inevitably feature at least two selections that are by any reasonable definition unlistenable. I say this as a partial music snob myself.

But if anything I'm a beer elitist. And I feel justified in this because it's the only kind of snobbery where the inferior tastes of others actually affects me. Your shitty taste in beer makes it more difficult for me to find good beer anywhere I go. Fuck you and your Bud Light.
