I had pizza at Frank Pepe's in New Haven CT this week and there's no doubt it was the best I've ever had and I am not a pizza person. There was an hour wait in a line just to get in but it was well worth it.

Down in Bronx in little Italy.

They made (Maybe still do) the best Pizza I have ever had, hands down.

There was a particular one that I just couldn't get enough of.

Chicken with some veggies, artisan style.

Just thinking about it makes me want to drive up to the spot and get some.

Were you surprised at what a shithole New Haven is?...hard to believe that one of the top universities in the world calls that toilet of a town home.

DiPietro's in Ocean City, MD is my fav.

It was a shithole. I needed a flashlight to get through it in the daytime tbh, but the place came recommended and since I was doing work at the university I figured I might as well have some of the legendary pizza.

I hear their white clam pizza is incredible.

Best I've personally had is Grimaldi's in Brooklyn. They've come to Dallas, and while it's as good a pizza as you can get in Dallas, it's still not near as good as the original.

Giordanos in Chicago was the best I ever had. In terms of a national pizza chain: Papa John's hands down.

I had one in New York when I was about 12. It was a little shop on a corner. I think it was in Queens.

Not a huge fan of large chains but Straw Hat is one I usually go to...

Nor am I a big fan of Chicago-style pizza...

I had a pizza in Santa Cruz, CA that was just amazing...can't remember the name but they were doing the gourmet pizza long before it became chic.

Frank Pepe started in 1925. I didn't believe the hype either. I'm a believer now.

We have it in Austin, and it's pretty damn good pizza for a chain.

Not sure how many have had the fortune of trying a Montanara Pizza but they are amazing. They deep fry the dough prior to cooking it in a wood burning oven with a garlic sauce and smoked buffalo mozzarella. My cousin was hyping me up telling me it was the best pizza he ever ate and kept bugging me to get it. After several weeks I finally gave in and tried it. After eating it, I called him and told him, "that was the best pizza I have ever had." The only problem is there aren't many places in the US that have them.
