Cristiano Ronaldo left reporters scratching their heads tonight when he said he did not celebrate his goals in Real Madrid's 3-0 La Liga home win over Granada because he was "sad" for "professional" reasons.
The Portugal international, who asked to be substituted after picking up a knock in the second half at the Bernabeu, said his feelings had nothing to do with losing out to Andres Iniesta for the Best Player in Europe award on Thursday but refused to elaborate.
"I don't celebrate goals when I am feeling sad and that's the case today," Ronaldo said, adding it was a "professional" and not a "personal" issue.
"The people who work here know why and I won't say anymore than that," he said.

Son,Old Trafford will always be there, waiting for you:toast

imo should go back to old trafford....

anywhere else will not be a challenge to him, unless his chasing the money then going to those oil cartel run clubs....

bring him back, get rid of young, evra, wellback, nani, valencia, vidic <<< tosb too many mistakes per game midgets

from many sources : ronaldo is mad and doesn't understand how guy like etoo, ibra, drogba are winning more money than him. he's only winning 10M. he's just saying that to have a new contract. he's pulling a Mourinho who's done the same thing 2 years ago to get rid of valdano. they do have the same agent so it's not surprising.

The Russian and Danish transfer markets are still open. He might fancy a move to Spartak so he can face Messi twice.

New contract will be signed soon, 16 Million € instead of "just" 10 in the future...

AS...I'm calling BS on this story. AS is on the level of Marca, Mundo Deportivo and Sport.es as nonsense sources regarding football stories. And besides, AS is very pro-Real Madrid.

I trust them, we will see.

If not, then not!
