The refs have been fine in the other games today, but this has probably been the worst officiated game of the week IMO..a lot of bad calls on both sides..

Does San Fran's D ever miss tackles, btw?..
:lol James Jones doing what James Jones does..I don't know why he's still on Green Bay's roster, one of the lowest IQs of any player in NFL history..

Pretty rough Sunday all-around. Gonna lose in both fantasy leagues, Bills lost, and the best I can finish is 3-3 in my bets on the week, putting me at -$15. Let's hope the Bucs hold on

That's the downside of the NFL returning, it doesn't get much worse than those shitty weeks of losing your bets AND your fantasy league AND your team loses:lol..I've had many of those, unfortunately..
I'm 3-1 on betting and both my fantasy teams are going to win, let's hope Denver caps it off and I'll have the opposite of yours:lol..I'm probably going to put some $ on Pittsburgh though, for insurance purposes..

Let's wait until Alex Smith plays against a decent defense to sing his praises, tbh..
He seems more confident, but he's playing against one of the worst secondaries in recent history..

The only thing remarkable about Smith is his decision making (not throwing picks)
As DD has said, the Niners know exactly how to call plays for him...They put him in a position to succeed.
Niners really do look like the best coached team I've seen today. Incredibly well prepared scheme-wise on both sides of the ball.

:lol Finley's decline has been pathetic..
He went from having the potential of being the top TE in the NFL a few years ago, to just a slightly above average TE at this point..

09-09-2012, 05:52 PM
Troy Aikman's been on point all game...why not even look Moss's way with all the single coverage? That's my only beef with the 49ers' play so far.

lol Packers
makes me feel better about that 8 point fluke loss earlier
That win by Griffin and the Redskins was certainly no fluke. If anything was flukey it was the play of Brees and the Saints for most of the game today. The Shanihans outcoached that fill in that was on the sideline out there for Nola and the Saints were thoroughly unimpressive for most of the first half. They definitely missed Peyton during this game and his absence will cost the Saints dearly as this season wears on.

09-09-2012, 06:31 PM
So basically the only thing that has changed with the Packers defense is that they're not getting any turnovers. I see they're still letting receivers get wide open and not even trying when it comes to tackling.
