un-fucking-believable ... another bogus pass interference call on third down. these refs are making it blatantly obvious who they are cheering for.

very next play after that ridiculous pass interference call USC fumbles and Stanford recovers.

09-15-2012, 08:43 PM
sons real talk it really is pretty unbelievable just how bad most college kickers are. sure it is expected on some of the smaller schools, but many of the biggest programs in college football have God awful kickers. is the demand for kicking really that low?
in this game in particular the kicker is the difference between it being a 14-7 game instead of a 14-13 game at the half. he bricked two easy kicks that many high school kickers could have knocked down.
BRHornet45
09-15-2012, 09:03 PM

Can't help but agree. Although it's a rivalry game, anyone who thinks that either of these teams could play with LSU/Bama/UGA is smoking crack...Might even throw UF in there after an impressive win tonight in Knoxville. Oregon is the only team in the PAC who would even have a chance against those teams.

sons and the truth is that Stanford honestly should have won this game by 2 or 3 scores. they blew several opportunities.
Stanford's kicker went to high school here in Austin and was a freshman when this chick I know was a senior, said he definitely wasn't getting laid that year. Probably still isn't. Explains a lot about how he cost Andrew Luck and all his NFL bound teammates a bowl game win last year and is still missing FGs in big time games. How do you send out a kid who can't get a chick to take her clothes off to make a FG, dude probably has no confidence in himself at all.

BRHornet45
09-15-2012, 10:49 PM
I mean the dude missed a 23 yard field goal at one point. that shit is just completely unacceptable. how does a decent college football program like Stanford have such a miserable kicker? even if he just knocked down 2 out of 3 of his kicks then Stanford would have had this game in the bag much earlier on.

sons let Stanford kids run around on the field. they study their asses off and are looking for any excuse to let loose. hell most of them probably don't even know that Stanford has beaten USC 4 years in a row now lol.
the good news is that now all of the talking heads will shut the fuck up about USC and their overrated quarterback. USC's defensive line is comparable to that of Kentucky. I knew they were bad, but they truly got exposed tonight.

Firstly, the Cardinal have only recently been a good program they were 1-10 the year before Jim Harbaugh came on the scene and they certainly played harder. Now, instead of hearing about the Trojans, we have to listen to the bloated SEC talk when it is clearly a one horse race with nothing but injuries to stop the Tide from repeating. Not that I thought USC would lose in this dysfunctional matter.

son that UL Monroe team would hang with, and possibly beat USC. I would predict USC to beat them if I were betting on it (if it were a home game), but I guarantee you that USC wouldn't beat them by anymore than 3-7 points. UL Monroe would run all over them like Stanford did.

I just read that USC has given up an average of 42 pts to Stanford in the past 4 meetings. Even back in the Leinart-Bush glory days, the Cardinal have never been an easy out for the Trojans. The defense that has been masquerading for the past half decade is not worthy of a no. 1 team that's a shame because it used to be really good. Also, the offensive line is more horrid than I thought. Losing the Kalil and Khaled Holmes seems to have been too much of a strain to bear. Oh well, maybe it'll be more free spirited play since now the pressure of trying to be the team that dethrones the SEC run is lifted off of them. Bummer...but no time to fret because a dangerous Cal team comes to town.

LOL sons its so cute how bitter some of you are. I do agree however that some people may take conference pride a bit too far, but who can blame them? All it proves when people bitch about it is that it really must suck to be a fan of a team outside of the SEC because deep down you know that your team has a much easier route and will never truly be considered legit until they take down the top 2 or 3 in the SEC. That's just the truth. If you want to be the best then you have to beat the best and the SEC has proven to be the best conference by far for a long time now.
Personally speaking I cheer for one team and one team only until the bowl games. Then I'll cheer for every SEC team to win their bowl games as well. It keeps our conference strong and anyone who disagrees with that is just downright bitter. Just ask the "national powerhouse" Ohio State and their fans about it ... it took them 9 straight bowl game beat downs by SEC teams to finally win one against a weaker South Carolina team last year. That type of shit brings joy to many fans of numerous teams.

I cheer for a team that has never even been to the Rose Bowl or any BCS Bowl. I gave up on UofA being the best at football a long ass time ago. If you think I blame the SEC for why Arizona is far from being an elite program then you're extremely stupid.
I also find it funny SEC fans think one Pac-12 team beating another Pac-12 team is somehow a victory for their conference :lmao
