I am about to embark on a journey into the world of high technology. I am going into a "fab" which is a wafer fabrication facility. It's a cleanroom where people wear full body suits.
I've never been in that arena and was wondering if anyone has any experience with it? I am going on a job interview tour to show us (intern candidates) what we could be doing.
Can someone give me some pointers or some things to look for? I've researched it a bit and saw some pics and videos but first hand information would be great.
Thanks
Sy

Don't small like cigarettes, no heavy cologne, be meticulously clean like under your finger nails, hair, etc.
Just an operator job or "parts changer?" maybe a process engineer, or something else requiring college? What's the job?

It's an internship with an equipment engineering group. I am not sure what I will be doing since I haven't actually gotten it yet.
I have good personal hygiene and don't smoke. There seems to be a ton of different processes so I wanted to have some questions to ask.

Well, I'm pretty familiar with how CMP used to be done. I'm sure some things have been changed but not many can. If you have questions there, ask away.
Sybok, let me know how it went for you today. I know some of those guys you mentioned.
This was hilarious, even if only for me.. lol
