Fuck, this is Tebow vs. Detroit-esque, tbh..I figured Peyton would have some shitty games, but I wasn't expecting anything of this nature..at least I got my insurance bet at the last second, tbh..

It doesn't help that the Falcons are getting their usual home field officiating advantage..

Falcons with the usual peaking-too-early shit they always pull.

Gotta give Denver's D some serious credit so far. Only TD they've given up was the int that set ATL up at the 1

Matt Ryan isn't a playoff performer. He is a game managing QB who gets exposed in January. Wtf is with these people and their constant praise on this predictable turd?

Ryan Fitzpatrick
09-18-2012, 07:19 AM
Gotta agree with TtoZ to some extent. Atlanta looks like they'll run away with their division, but they're still too inconsistent to trust for a long playoff run. How the hell was that a game last night with 4 first quarter TO's and a myriad of favorable calls?

Had Denver done that against SF, GB, or NYG the game would've been 24-0 at least, and over.

The game was 27-7. Falcons threw the ball twice in the 4th quarter. Peyton and the broncos converted multiple 4th downs to score in the 4th. The game was never really in question.

Also, I love the knock on Ryan's playoff record. You all do realize it took the great peyton manning five years to get his first playoff win and two of those years he didn't have a winning record? Matt ryan has had a winning record each season he's been in the league, even in 09 when he missed games. The falcons have also lost the nfc champion each of the 3 years they've been in the playoffs and 2 of those were the super bowl champion, shop he wasn't alone in losing in the playoffs those years.

The Broncos were down 6 with almost 2 and a half minutes to go when Jones picked up the clinching 1st down by a yard on 3rd and 5. How is that not a game in question?

lolwut? It should've been no less than 24-0 after the first quarter. You couldn't put The Sheriff away early, and he more than likely would've beaten you had ATL not converted that 3rd and 6--especially since your defense was a sieve in the 4th quarter.

I guess we watched two different games. The coaches went super conservative in the 4th and didn't throw the ball. (didn't agree with it at all) J. Jones dropped a TD in the first, I'm not sure how that's Ryan's fault. He also dropped multiple 1st downs, once again I'm not sure how that's Ryan's fault. The game would have been 21-0 in the first quarter.

Could of, should of, would of. I guess if the game was 5 quarters they would have won. That happens a lot of times. But no, the Falcons suck, got handed a game they shouldn't of won, but just did. Thank god the Broncos allowed that to happen.

Ryan Fitzpatrick
09-18-2012, 01:21 PM

Yeah, I'd say that's pretty fucking obvious. lol 5 quarters.

True or false: If the Falcons don't pick up that 3rd and 6, then Peyton (arguably the GOAT) gets 2 to 3 minutes to put a drive together.

Edward
09-18-2012, 01:27 PM
I think Atlanta is more legit than in years past because they've become a pass 1st team and seem to have realized that their power running game w/ Turner is about as useful as having an asshole on your elbow in the current day NFL. Matt Ryan still thinks he's Peyton Manning and fucks his team the way he audibles every fuckin play at the LOS, and there's no question Atlanta should have had the game out of reach the entire 4th quarter.

:lmao Comparing Matt Ryan to Peyton Manning. Even before he won his first playoff game, Peyton was miles ahead of Ryan. Horrible comparison. Alex Smith or Tony Romo are better comparisons. The Falcons need Ryan to be something he will never be... an elite QB. The truth hurts.
