After this disaster, the NFL will be forced to negotiate with the real refs ASAP.

son personally I think that the officials are paid more than enough money to work 1 day a week (average NFL official salary is $149,000 per year) ... HOWEVER the simple fact that Roger "pussy ass" Goodell is paid $20 Million per year is a complete and utter joke. pay the refs more so this bullshit can stop. fuck Goodell .. fuck his bitch Fox News wife ... and fuck his family.

"According to ESPN.com's Darren Rovell, the average pay for NFL game officials last season was $149,000. Under the NFL's last proposal, that would increase to more than $189,000 by 2018. In addition, a game official in his first year in 2011 made an average of $78,000. Under the NFL's last proposal, he would make more than $165,000 by the end of the new agreement."

"Roger Goodell reportedly will make $20 million per season by the end of his current contract."

and then when the real refs come back and constantly fuck up, the fans can rest easy knowing that at least these refs are grossly overpaid,

The biggest problem now is that the replacement refs get no respect so the situation goes to shit really fast. They definitely miss more calls than the regular refs and they suck ass comapred to the regular refs but the players and coaches definitely make it way worse themselves.

sons not saying this was the reason the Saints lost ... but for anyone who watched that game from start to finish could see just how bad these refs are. even the dumbass talking head announcers were complaining about it. they challenged at least 5 or 6 plays and got 3 of them (that were blatantly obvious) completely wrong.

The regular refs are horseshit too, especially in games that involve the Pats and/or Steelers, tbh....

I'm guessing this game will only prolong the referee strike... the NFL refs are going to have to cave for a deal to get done.

After tonight, the refs have got to have a lot of hope that the NFL will cave.

if the nfl doesn't think this is gonna hurt their bottom line eventually they're wrong. It's only week 3 and it has already reached apocalyptic proportions. If this continues for 3 more weeks I guarantee you tv ratings will start going down for the rest of the season. especially for "primetime" games. good will is a bitch to get back once its gone.
